Bigfoot Bungalow of the North: Lake cabin w/woods!

Rustic and remote cabin features 2 bedrooms and a 3/4 bath. Bedroom 1 features a King bed and closet Bedroom 2 features a queen bed, closet, DVD player and TV, along with a family friendly assortment of DVD's so the kids have a place to wind down after a long day out playing. Fully stocked kitchen with plates, pans, silverware and assorted small electrics as well as microwave, pizza oven, and stove and full size fridge. Living space includes table, couch, and chairs for seating. New mini split.

Country Living

Looking for some quiet and solitude our cabin is located in the country sitting on 20 acres of wooded land with walking trails, wildlife, and solitude. But we are still just a short drive to nearby communities for numerous activities to enjoy. We have kayaks and a canoe for rent enjoy an evening on a nearby lake watching the sunset and listening to the loons or enjoy some fishing from the kayak. In the winter enjoy our Outdoor Sauna, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, x-country skiing, or ice fishing.

Welcome to Beauty Lake Retreat. Enjoy a quiet getaway year-round on secluded Beauty Lake. Just 3 miles from Itasca State Park and the Mississippi headwaters, this well-appointed, spacious, modern barnhouse cabin is here to cater to your every need. With a short 200 foot walk to the lakefront, enjoy a stunning view from the dock, kayak or canoe on the clear, peaceful waters of Beauty lake. At night, sit by the fire and listen to the loons call, or curl up with a good book by the wood stove.

The Maynard Cabin, a Civil War era log cabin

The Maynard Log Cabin was erected by a homesteader after the civil war. We have moved and restored it and made it available for rent. It is off the grid, but it has a complete functioning kitchen, wood stove and sitting room downstairs. There are two antique beds with new mattresses upstairs. There is no electricity but the cabin is furnished with kerosene lanterns. The bathroom facilities consist of wash basins and outhouse. The cabin is surrounded by 40 acres of woods and meadows.
