Cabin vacation rentals in Big Moose Lake

I really enjoyed my stay at the Spruce Lake Cabin. The lake was extremely peaceful and, despite the rainy weekend, was still very enjoyable on the deck. I only wish I had more time to enjoy the kayak! Jacqui was extremely friendly and communicative from the beginning. I’m hoping to plan another stay!

The home was in a beautiful location with Great Lake access. Home recently remodeled and clean. Some accessibility concerns for older/ younger guests due to many stairs down to the house and water front. Navigation was made more difficult due to lack of leaf removal in outside areas including stairs and outdoor dining space. A rake and broom were provided but removal ahead of guest arrival would have been optimal

The cabin was so cozy with many thoughtful touches, so peaceful, so relaxing. We really enjoyed our time there. Of note - the stairs leading to the deck overlooking the lake were very steep and very narrow. My sister has limited vision and it was difficult for her to maneuver without assistance. I did not see any mention of this in the property description. The property description listed a dock, which was not in place during our stay. We paid a $300 cleaning fee and per check-out instructions, we were expected to take all our garbage and recycling to a transfer station with a permit (expired) the host supplied. We ended up loading all the garbage/recycling in our SUV and taking it home. This was a little disappointing.

Loved the lake acess and lake views from the couch and living room. The fire pit is nice to stargaze and keep the bugs away for a nice camping like experience. Was buggy due to rain so definitely bring off/bug spray or something for outside bugs. Lake was still cold but would love to come back and swim with the private water access from backyard

We had a wonderful stay at Bruce's lake house. It has been beautifully updated and the location on the lake is fantastic. The master bed is huge and comfortable The kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need to cook meals. We used the gas grill one evening and appreciated having it. The living room furniture is comfortable and we even turned on the electric fireplace one rainy morning. It was great! There are two kayaks and a canoe. We paddled around the lake and had a great time. We even caught a couple fish. I highly recommend this lake home for a relaxing retreat and we are already planning our return trip!

This cabin in the woods of the Adirondacks made a cold and rainy weekend in late May/early June cozy, comfortable, and relaxing. The Adirondacks are beautiful in any weather. My husband and I enjoyed our visit—the best way to escape life's hustle and bustle. We did a lot of relaxing, reading, listening to the stream outside the door, and enjoying the crackling of the fire. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms. Couldn’t have asked for more. A very special place. Thank you for sharing your place with us. Amazing beautiful place to stay. Matched the description a tee, clean, and everything inside that you could need. Close to everything for walking distance and such. Great restaurants with polite people everywhere. Hot tub was amazing well kept and Jon did really well communicating everything with us for easy check in and check out!! Will definitely be back! Jake was an excellent host. My partner and I visit ADK at least once a year. This was our first time in Indian Lake and we very much enjoyed our time. The place is so neat, clean, and provided everything we needed and more. The view from the dining room was perfect to sip our morning brew and watch the sunrise or to watch the sun set with a nice cup of tea. The neighborhood is quiet and there is plenty to do in the area. It’s in the center of other great surrounding towns as well. We look forward to return sometime in the future. Thanks Jake!

Pine cone paradise was super cute for the weekend. Hot tub and fire pit are major pluses. Wood on site. Creek out back was beautiful. Dog loved it. Quick to respond hosts!!

Lindsay and John were excellent hosts - very communicative. Great little ADK cabin for a family getaway. Close to multiple mountains and lakes - depending on what you want to do. Personally loved spending time in the hot tub which was nice and clean!

Kyle was a great host who responded quickly to any concerns we had. The instructions were very thorough, leaving no room for error or confusion. The house felt very cozy and had everything that was listed. It was definitely a great stay and will be recommending to others.

What a hidden gem!! Everything was wonderful and the location is amazing. A little hard to find, but worth it because it was private. TVs did work well but we weren’t there to watch TV. The place was clean and it had EVERYTHING we needed. It had every pot, pan and spice you could ever ask for. Plenty of seating, rooms were nice, porch was amazing. Plenty of places to sleep. We would absolutely go back anytime!! Thank you for a wonderful time!

This was the perfect place for my friend and I to stay for our girl's weekend. The place was warm and welcoming and it is central to almost everything. I would definitely stay here again!

A really awesome place, ideal for relaxing and get energized without external distractions ! Limited network depending on your carrier, which was exactly what we were looking for! A bit chilly in mid October - as advertised - but Pam made everything to make sure we were comfortable ! I am pretty sure I will come back! Lots to do in terms of hiking, and activities in the cities nearby

We had an amazing stay! The property is just as described and was perfect for our family! We enjoyed the record player while playing games by the fire! Charlene responded to my messages promptly and was friendly and helpful! We enjoyed making s’mores by the fire pit too! This property is in a good location! Secluded but a close enough drive to Herkimer Diamond mine which is what brought us to the area. Hoping to be back in the future to explore some more! We will stay here again if ever in the area! this place was beautiful and SO peaceful!! my partner and i decided to come here for a valentine weekend getaway and it was so worth it. we plan on coming back during summer time to see how beautiful it is during the sunshine :) thank you bonnie, you and your place are amazing!

Beautiful cabin and great amenities. The wood burning stove was our favorite part along with the wood furnishings. A lot of great things to do and the hosts were so kind and friendly. Definitely a great place to book (just keep in mind the nearest restaurants are about 30 minutes away but the cabin has a well equipped kitchen for baking and cooking plus smores!). thank you for a wonderful time.
