Treehouse (LOTR) Stargazer Skycabin

Our LOTR themed treehouse, along with our LOTR Wizard's Cottage, have been described as a "love letter to Tolkien himself." We have been featured on PBS and WJON radio. Joan and I live on the acreage, about 200 ft. from the Wizard's Cottage and very far from the treehouse, which is located on the back part of the acreage. It has a fenced-in portion that makes up the Shire Garden. Down the hill is our nod to Mordor. Feel free to visit and dare to open the "Mor Do(o)r." Diversity is welcome.

The Little Red Barn @Three Acre Woods

Adventure awaits you in this rustic getaway. There is electricity and the covered patio has a small fridge, microwave, camp stove, and bbq grill. No running water inside. Living room and one bedroom with a queen bed on the first level. The loft has a full bed and room for a sleeping bag or two for more guests. An out house and outdoor shower. I have added an Arctic Ice cooler for hot nights! There is a nice fire pit, playground, and goats to play with! Warning: The cats love to visit!

The Maynard Cabin, a Civil War era log cabin

The Maynard Log Cabin was erected by a homesteader after the civil war. We have moved and restored it and made it available for rent. It is off the grid, but it has a complete functioning kitchen, wood stove and sitting room downstairs. There are two antique beds with new mattresses upstairs. There is no electricity but the cabin is furnished with kerosene lanterns. The bathroom facilities consist of wash basins and outhouse. The cabin is surrounded by 40 acres of woods and meadows.

Lakehome easy to find. Smooth check-in. Plenty of parking with 4 vehicles and a boat. The place is neat and clean with comfy beds/linens. We love the deck on the 2nd level,it has beautiful view if the lake. We have everything we needed. It was a fun, memorable weekend. We will definitely comeback. Highly recommend!

This place is amazing! The host Trisha was great to work with, she was able to give us a tour of the farm over a holiday. My family loved all of the animals. The entire unit was decorated for the holidays, it was a great place to open presents and celebrate with the family while away from home.

The View was amazing! Even though it was -10*, it felt like we were in a sunroom looking out on the lake. It was amazing to sit with a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise each morning, along with taking in the action of the Ice fishing on the lake. The steps in the home are very steep and one needs to take caution and go slow while going down.

A spacious living area features large windows that provide ample natural light and views of the outdoors. A rustic wooden dining table with attached benches is prominent, complemented by leather seating and a warm wood ceiling. A staircase leads to the upper level.

We had a wonderful time at Jon's cabin celebrating our annual Family Christmas weekend. The place was very clean and Jon had the driveway plowed and sidewalks shoveled after the recent snowfall. We appreciated the flexible check in and check out. Would recommend to anyone looking for a cozy lakeside getaway.

The place was very peaceful. Looking out directly at the lake right out in front of the kitchen made cooking a dream. We just enjoyed the view. We enjoyed paddle boarding and dipping in, and lucked out with incredible weather. Talked around the campfire at night and slept well in very comfortable beds. Felt private and was a beautiful setting. I would definitely go back.
