From spending a day at the lake to biking the scenic mountains, whitewater rafting to experiencing paintball, visiting historic Jim Thorpe to enjoying a night at the cabin’s fire pit -the activities are endless in the Poconos!

Welcome to The Sleeping Bear Retreat at Jim Thorpe. Located at the top of the mountain, and only minutes from the center of town, our 2 Bed / 2 Bath carriage house suite offers comfort, privacy and convenient access to everything Jim Thorpe has to offer. While it is not an actual tree house, it is a carriage house surrounded by trees on most sides. The name "Tree House" comes from former guests who named this space, and for that we are forever grateful <3
