Mountain Hikers Luxury Retreat in Roquefixade

AlastairRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Roquefixade is a very picturesque village and the accomodation is excellent, with a spectacular outlook. There are lovely walks in the area. We especially enjoyed the chateau circuit and another loop walk to Les Demoiselles. Tom was a very friendly and helpful host.
A serene garden area is presented, featuring a clear swimming pool bordered by lush greenery and vibrant flowers. A large green umbrella provides shade, enhancing the outdoor setting, while a wooden fence adds a sense of enclosure and privacy to the space.

large family home with pool and garden

CindydyRating, 5 stars11 months ago
Very nice old house, very large with beautiful spaces. The pool is a real plus because we were lucky enough to have the heat. House well equipped with board games and for children in rainy weather. I recommend it, we had a great time with the family.

Country cottage in the countryside

MargarethaRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We had a lovely week at Nadine and Nicolas’s gite! Nicolas was incredibly helpful when we arrived late without food or drinks available and provided pasta and sauce to feed our family of 5! There also was a bottle of wine in the welcome box so we were more than happy! We were not aware there was a sauna at the house and on a wet cold night, Nicolas very kindly offered us its use and lit the log burner outdoor sauna for us to use! What a treat!!! The pool was fresh but in September we were not expecting it to be warm! The house was lovely, my only “issue” was that the top floor shower had weak water pressure and the downstairs bathroom had a bath with a hand held shower head. My sons are very tall and struggled to shower comfortably. This DID NOT spoil our holiday as it’s just a minor issue! Mirepoix just 25 minutes away was one of our fab places to visit with an amazing market on a Monday morning which is a must !! There is much to do in the area and a car is a necessity ! Thanks N&N x

Dome with hot tub, breakfast, fire pit and spa

AmandineRating, 5 stars4 days ago
A huge thank you to Victoria! The organization of my partner's birthday in his beautiful dome went wonderfully. The place is beautiful. Lots of nice touches and everything is done in detail by Victoria. She is both discreet and present when necessary. You can't dream better :) The jacuzzi was the big plus. The view when you wake up: magical! Breakfast and meals were very well served and with care... and it was delicious. We loved the cat that came to give us little hugs. We were in a little piece of paradise. We'll be back for sure. I recommend 1000%

Village house

Feel at home! Charming house in the heart of the village where everything is there to make you have a perfect stay. Ultra well-equipped, very comfortable bedding. And in addition the house is cool which is a big plus when it's 35 outside! I recommend it 200%
A wood-burning stove is situated within a rustic stone hearth, featuring a wooden mantel above. The flames provide warmth and a glow, creating a cozy focal point in the room. A television is mounted on the wall above the mantel, and decorative items are placed nearby.

The Shoemaker, Plaigne

KimRating, 5 stars9 months ago
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this lovely house in Plaigne, a beautiful scenic village in rural south France. About 30 minutes from Carcassonne airport, roughly an hour from Andorra and only 90 minutes to the Med the accommodation is ideally situated. The accommodation is comfortable, incredibly clean, maintained to a high standard and is very well equipped. Belpeche is a short drive away and the beautiful town of Meirpoix with its weekly market and good choice of shops, bars and restaurants is within easy reach. The views of the Pyrenees from the terrace are breathtaking and one that you will never tire of seeing. The hosts, Pete and Jane, are very welcoming and friendly and happy to share their knowledge on the local area. Overall a fantastic accommodation, location and holiday. I look forward to staying again.
A shaded stone table with three matching benches is positioned on a grassy area, overlooking a serene swimming pool. Lush greenery and blooming bushes surround the pool, providing a peaceful view of the landscape beyond.
