We had a fantastic family stay at Casa da Ti Dores in Cativelos! The house is full of charm, beautifully restored, and very comfortable for families. It had everything we needed — cozy rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and a peaceful setting. The warm pool was the highlight for all of us — absolutely stunning and perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the area. Our kids loved it, and so did we! The village is quiet and welcoming, and it’s a great base for discovering Serra da Estrela. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, making us feel right at home. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing, authentic getaway. We hope to return!

Ana’s place is charming and comfortable. The view from the back terrace is spectacular. Ana kindly made a dinner reservation for us nearby and supplied us with freshly baked bread for breakfast. She is an excellent host and her place is perfect for relaxing in peaceful and beautiful surroundings. We wished we had time to swim at the nearby river pool which looked amazing. Maybe next time! Very welcoming home. For the winter, very warm with the salamadra in the living room. access to the house is only made, through stairs. It can be difficult for those who have mobility difficulties.

My two friends and I absolutely loved Joao's place! It is one of the most unique airbnbs we have ever stayed in, built on the side of a mountain with a fabulous view off the balcony. It was comfortable and quiet. The town of Monsanto is also incredibly beautiful and unique and everything is in walking distance. I would love to return to Monsanto and would definitely stay in Joao's place again.

Hello Cristian! We loved being in this refuge in the middle of nature, it was just what we needed. It rained a lot and the house was really a cozy shelter for everyone, our children loved "the magical wooden house in the countryside"! We slept very well and it was a privilege to be able to enjoy this experience of living in a medieval village with so much history and beauty. We loved the shower! We arrived in the afternoon and after visiting the surrounding village, it's not too much to congratulate you on the incredible good taste and the room chosen for us. The space is incredibly cozy and beautiful. The welcome basket was a pleasant surprise, which gave us one more reason to come back again. Everything was perfect. If you want quiet cute old village stay. We stayed for a month and enjoyed watching the river and the start of the changing of the leaves. The house is ready to move in how ever long you want to stay with everything needed. The host is very nice.I would come back

Manuela's communication is assertive and very clear in the information provided. The house is extremely clean, well organized and is quite comfortable. The very easy check-in. The very calm and quiet area. Very well located, has the Bus terminal and market near the house. Theater, museum, various historical moments to visit the Foot. I recommend it and will be back!

The accommodation is located 3 minutes by car from the Portuguese border of Vilar Formoso where restaurants and shops are located. The owners are very accommodating for the arrival time, they are very kind and responsive in terms of communication before arriving at the accommodation. They live next door which facilitates exchanges and reception of keys. Very clear explanations of the place, spacious, modern, well maintained and very clean upon arrival. Thanks to the owners for the warm welcome and kindness. I will come back without hesitation!!!

Our stay was 5 stars. Carmo was always available for whatever we needed, even after check-out. She's a 5-star host too! The house exceeded our expectations, it is excellent for hosting a large group like ours, very comfortable and with all the necessary amenities. We wanted to come back!

We loved the days we spent at Regina's house. The house is even more beautiful than in the photographs, the cleanliness was impeccable, the house is very spacious, airy, and has absolutely everything we could need. Erica is very available, always responds immediately to any request. The jacuzzi, of course, is the cherry on top, as well as the terrace, where we can watch the sun set and have our meals. We highly recommend this experience to all those who want to spend a few quiet days in the countryside.

My family and I (wife and two kids (13 and 16) spent three days over Chistmas at the house. it was the absolute perfect place to spend the holidays. The house is very cozy and comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed and was perfect for us to prepare the full Véspera and Christmas Day meals. There is even a local bread delivery service and the legendary Sera da.estrela mountain cheese made from local sheep available close by. Loriga is a beautiful mountain town and should not to be missed. From the beginning Senhor Tiago was extremely helpful and friendly. We are so grateful to have been able to spend our Christmas in such a fantastic location. We can't recommend this house more highly!!!!

The property is beautiful — spacious, well-equipped with everything you need, and in a very convenient location near supermarkets and restaurants. The view from the property is stunning. The host was very friendly, gave great local recommendations, and was available for any questions. The town itself is lovely, charming, and close to hiking trails.

Rustic and charming cottage in a classic Portuguese mountain village. Beautifully renovated and equipped with every comfort. For me as a tall Dutchman, it was a small challenge, but it was not a problem. I highly recommend this or one of the other cottages in the vicinity.

Extremely quiet place, with complete privacy and all the comforts you need for a quiet and relaxing weekend. The house is equipped with all the amenities and the terrace, with a jacuzzi at the ideal temperature, offers a breathtaking view. The owner was always very accessible and attentive, giving helpful suggestions on places to visit and where to eat nearby. Access is easy and there is a nearby supermarket that offers home delivery service, which made the stay even more practical and comfortable. An experience we recommend!

Beautiful private spot. Paul was amazingly helpful and communicative, any queries answered immediately but also he didnt invade our personal space. Perfect balance. Amazing host. Very relaxed and the house had all the amenities we could want. Definitely recommend.

Bucolic and isolated site with its own access to the clean water stream. At the end of the day, two Serra da Estrela would probably be attracted by the smell of the barbecue 😆
