Vacation rentals with lake access in Belmont

The location is wonderful. Beautiful backyard and directly on the lake. The kayaks were a highlight of our trip. The house is on a fairly busy road so be ready for a bit of traffic. Jacqueline was a great communicator both with initial instructions that were easy to follow and when we had any issues or concerns.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was cozy and extremely well maintained and clean. The view of the lake was amazing and the area was quiet and peaceful. This was our first trip to the area and Kate was very responsive to my messages. Highly recommend.

5 of us stayed here for an extended family wedding. We primped and prepped and had plenty of room for that. Two of the upstairs bedrooms were smaller than I expected. The sheets, pillows, and towels were soft and clean. The beds were comfortable. There were lots of shampoo, soap and toilet paper. The common rooms were large and comfortable. The kitchen had every tool I needed. The screened in porch got a lot of use. Everyone walked around the lake and grabbed some food in Pineville. Julie was very responsive when we had questions.

To be honest, the pictures do not give the full justice of this property. The character and fun decor was right up our alley. So much thoughtful preparation too! Towels, hand towels, wash clothes were laid so nicely on each bed. Fresh cold water in the fridge ready for us on arrival. The smart features were so nice with the antique modern charm. At night we sat on the screened in porch and listened to the frogs…. So peaceful. Our advice for this place….. JUST BOOK IT! You will not be disappointed.

We absolutely loved it! The house was very nice, clean and all the furniture (including the beds) were comfortable and cozy. The lake views were beautiful and there was plenty of things to do. We made amazing memories with our family!

This was one of the most thoughtful places we’ve stayed!!!! Ashley and Dave left no stone unturned. We had everything we needed and more. The outside space is amazing! So incredibly peaceful. Perfect for a family getaway. We enjoyed meals on the screened in patio and morning coffee by the water. I didn’t want to leave.

We were there to visit family. It was a perfect location for us. Minutes from family and restaurants and other outings. The house was very nice. Kids were able to fish, be outside and go for walks during any downtime. Chris was great to deal with. Offered options for us. Replied very quickly to questions and requests. We’re looking forward to another visit there!

Loch Norm Lair is beautiful and relaxing. Great neighborhood. Just the peaceful week we needed. Rick and Judy are extremely friendly. Rick loves to share his boat and will take you for a ride. We sat and talked with them on several occasions and shared a dinner at a restaurant. The place is well cared for and a great deal, very reasonable pricing. It was a shame the sailboat wasn't working, would have loved a ride. We are already talking about a return trip in warmer weather to fully enjoy the water. Thank you so much for the beautiful week. The condo was very clean, new and large. Actually 4 floors in a renovated church. 1st floor was kitchen, living room and half bathroom. 2nd floor was master bedroom suite with walk-in shower, laundry room outside suite. 3rd floor was 2 additional bedrooms and a shared bath. 4th floor was a roof top sitting area. Everything looked brand new and well stocked. Host was extremely proactive in checking in to see if we had any issues, which we did not. Location was ~1 mile from downtown Charlotte and easy driving distance to everything. Enjoyed our stay and will comeback if heading to Charlotte again. Thanks for sharing and caring..

Beautiful setting with lots of things to do. Dogs are great. Lake is lovely. Kayaks are nice. Lore cared a lot that we were happy during our stay.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay! The unit had anything you could possibly need. Was great not having to run to the store to get this or that as they already had everything available. Very clean!

I have used James many times now to lodge employees from Minnesota while attending training in the Charlotte area. All aspects of our interactions have been EXCELLENT! My employees request to stay there versus a hotel. The amenities, cleanliness, location, and peacefulness of the lake far out weigh anything a local hotel can offer. He's always the first place we look to book. 100% recommended.

Gorgeous place right on the water. Top floor so no noise in at night. Was a great place for our family to stay for Thanksgiving.

Whether you want to relaxi or fish, this is the perfect place for you. Me, my husband, and our 3 dogs love this place and as always, we will return again

Had an amazing stay at the cottage. Plenty of outdoor activities to take part in, including easy access to the lake! Earl was a great host. He was friendly and responsive, and proactive in his communication. Would recommend to anybody looking to stay at Lake Norman!

This place is absolutely beautiful, peaceful and just what our family needed. So grateful that we were able to bring our sweet dog too. Our son is way into fishing-the dock was exactly what we were looking for. LeeAnn is an incredible host, answered any and all questions and the place was exactly as she described. We already know that we will be back and can’t wait to plan our next visit.

Great stay!! Peaceful and quiet for family time. Lots of nooks for reading and quiet time plus spacious rooms to gather. We loved sitting on the dock. Very pet friendly. Generous incidentals that made the stay convenient.
