Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Bellingen

This was our second stay here. It's a lovely house, with lots of space. It's also really well located for the shops and restaurants in Bellingen.

This was our fourth stay at Misty River Lodge and won’t be our last. My family, including our little Jack Russell Terrier, loves Helen and Craig’s place. I especially love seeing how the gardens have evolved. We enjoy visiting the beaches up and down the coast — Scotts Head is a favourite — and we love to find new places to eat. Coffs Harbour is only a 45 minute drive north and South West Rocks is just 30 minutes south, so it’s a really central location and close to the highway but so quiet and peaceful. The bird song is relaxing and if you’re an early riser, you might even see the local swamp wallaby down near the creek. We were treated to fresh quail eggs, deliciously sweet tomatoes and tasty vegetables from the garden. As Helen said when we arrived… “Welcome home!” … because it does feel like a home away from home.

We loved our stay at the Mill Cottage. It felt like home the moment we checked in. Mark & Miranda’s communication was always quick to respond and they were very flexible with our needs. We’ll be back for sure!!

The house was so comfortable. Clean, every possible need catered for and the fire was set and ready to light. Would totally recommend this stay for others.

Check in: out was simple, and we had a great instruction manual which gave us great ideas of things to do in surrounding areas. Loved our stay at Casa las Valla. It was such a beautiful peaceful home. The beds were comfy the house had a real homey feel and it was big enough for the whole extended family. The hosts went above and beyond and absolutely made us feel comfortable and welcome. Country living only a short drive to the beach it was perfect. We will be back 😊

Great Airbnb, comfortable and alot more "experience" than a traditional accommodation only booking. Kids enjoyed seeing the horses, feed the animals and the beach is a great place to visit, if you are lucky the lagoon creates a rush of water flowing into the ocean making it a great stream for the kids to body board or simply float down. Stayed a night at Andrew’s amazing cabin, it was meticulously maintained and well stocked with snacks and breakfast staples. The views are incredible, we watched a glorious sunrise before we continued our journey home. Would love to spend a few days here rather than just passing through for 1 night. Highly recommend to anyone considering a stay here.

Annelie was very friendly and the place itself was pristine. Completely clean and comfy. It was a great stop along the way for my partner and I as we did our east coast Australia road trip. Definitely recommend!!

Had a great stay at Emma’s! We made a last minute booking, and was able to check in almost immediately. We appreciate the love that’s been put into the apartment and we felt very comfortable. Small things make a difference- like the toys we found for our little girl to play with. We will no doubt be back on our next visit to Sawtell. Thankyou :)

This is a fantastic studio with an incredible blend of retro and industrial touches. It also boasts a full sized kitchen except for the mini fridge. It also has a great selection of DVDs to pick from that we couldnt help but to contribute to, to help fill out the collection even more. The studio is 5 minute walk from the main street so its a quiet location while remaining close to the centre of town. Quite possibly the perfect location for staying in Bellingen. Highly recommend

The cute Coastal Getaway hosted by Irene felt super homely. We stayed the night on the way up to the Gold Coast and she was super accomodating with a late arrival from Sydney ensuring that we had easy access. Super easy to get to and find. Would highly recommend!

We loved our stay. we did a walk down to the beach, along the boardwalk at Urunga and at the rainforest in Dorrigo! the place was clean and spacious.

My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this lovely house in Coffs Harbour. The location was perfect—peaceful yet close to everything, with fantastic restaurants just a short walk away, especially one of them has become our favourite should we come back again for another visit! The house itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Our host was incredibly friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout the entire booking and stay. It made the whole experience feel very welcoming and stress-free. We especially enjoyed the scenic coastal and beach walks around the area—Coffs Harbour is truly a gem for nature lovers and people enjoying bush walk activities. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area and would definitely love to stay here again in the future! Thanks Jodi.

My daughter and I stayed here on our back from Qld to Sydney. Kaye and David were great easy to communicate with. Great supply of coffee (we are nurses) and breakfast supied was just right. Bathroomis awesome comfortable bed and beaut linen. Easy walk to the beach with kangaroos, scrub birds and nature on the way. Lovely spot

Great little place. Nothing fancy but had everything you need. Bonus points for a well-stocked kitchen in terms of utensils and crockery! Even a sharp knife, which is a rarity! Very walkable to town and the beach, even with kids. Literally 3 minutes. The pool is not heated for those wondering, so it was sub 15 degrees in June. No air con or heating so the night was a bit chilly in the cold snap but there were enough blankets to keep warm! Loved the balcony! We had a great time and the complex was quiet and calm. Perfect for a family with young kids, especially in summer it would be fantastic!

A wonderful apartment with spectacular views. Local shops, restaurants and beach within walking distance.

Ken’s unit is spacious, full of natural light and very comfortable to relax in. The outlook that sweeps around the living area is just stunning. What you get to enjoy on a one hour loop from the house is Equally amazing. We loved it.
