Good vibes only with Steve, welcoming, respectful and leaves you your privacy and even if we lived together for two days I appreciated his discretion while we were at his place. ✨☀️🙏

We had a lovely stay at Barbara's cottage, it was very clean and similar to the photos, we will gladly come back!

The accommodation was very nice but a little expensive for a weekend in low season. I would have liked to spare the cleaning and do it myself but the setting was very good.

We, three adults and a 4-year-old child, had a very nice stay in May. The house is spacious, very well equipped and very clean. You felt right at home. Particularly good: freezer compartment available, top equipped kitchen with dishes and cooking accessories. Blackout with folding shutters possible. Toilet is separate, so not in the bathroom. Lots of toys for indoors and outdoors on site. Garden is completely fenced. Large deck with awning. Private parking at the house, 1 min walk to the playground, 15 min walk to the beach. There is free parking on the beach itself. Erika is a wonderful host, always available, very friendly and helpful. Not so good: refrigerator is a little small. No dishwasher. But it didn't really bother us, we got along very well. The location is great to explore the coast and cities like Bruges and Ghent. Shops, such as Aldi and Lidl, are 3 minutes away. We will be happy to come back !

Great accommodation, the super welcoming welcome everything is well explained upon arrival. The cohabitation of the campsite is kind people are friendly I highly recommend it.

Merle's bungalow is a dream!✨ From the super-equipped kitchen to cozy places in the living and dining room, everything was perfect! The mattress was soooo comfortable and the decoration modern and loving. There were many different seating areas in the garden, which was very well maintained. The nearby lake access made our stay sweeter. Merel was always available and responded to messages immediately! We would love to come back to the beautiful house on the lake! 💕

A nice little place to stay in the countryside, which lends itself to exploring Bruges and the surrounding area. We enjoyed the tranquility around us very much.

the artists' hut is perfect for relaxing in peace, lulled by the birdsong. Possibility of beautiful walks right from the accommodation, along the Meuse.

We felt very comfortable in the accommodation right from the beginning! Due to the fact that the accommodation is not insulated, it became a bit cold during our stay at night, but you could compensate that directly with the existing pellet stove in the morning and it was very cozy again! If we go to the area again, we will be happy to come back :)

Lovely house in beautiful surroundings. Very well equipped with everything you need. We were 4 adults and a teen and there was ample space. Christophe was very responsive and accommodating and made us feel very welcome. We had a very enjoyable stay!

We had a really great time at the house. The location was very peaceful and calm. The house had all amenities we needed. There was a super market very nearby which was very helpful. The garden was lovely and our dog enjoyed there as well! Bruges was pretty nearby as well and this house is a perfect place for a relaxing vacation!

Very lovely stay! The pool is heated very well and the area is lovely to walk around or cycle! We also utilized the bbq and it was lovely to spend time with family in this beautiful area. The only thing to note is there are a lot of ticks as you are truly in nature so definitely bring deet and a tick pen! This is to be expected in any forest/countryside area though and we would definitely come back. Caroline responded very quickly and all the instructions and house rules were extremely clear. We would definitely recommend!

Super nice vacation home. nicely decorated, lots of toys and the like for the kids. Really thought of the comfort of the guests. Recommended!

Everything was perfect during my stay, from check-in to checkout! Listening owner, responsive and very kind, peaceful nature with birds singing constantly, a feeling of being in a timeless place so quiet and how cozy it is! Gielen is easily reachable by foot with its shops and lots of possible walks around. Thank you so much for the perfect welcome, I can't wait to come back!
