In the village you will find restaurants, a supermarket, an ice cream parlour, as well as a pedal boat rental. The apartment is the complete upper floor with a large living/dining area, double bedroom, walk-in closet, bathroom with shower and a fully equipped kitchen (with dishwasher, stove, fridge, etc.) The apartment is located in the center of Helmstedt (district of Barmke) and is easily accessible via the A2. It is quietly located and a lot of light comes into the apartment through the large windows, with all windows equipped with shutters.

I am super satisfied with my stay at Rolf's. I was on the road a lot, just like Rolf, but we still talked in the evening :) I was alone there as a young girl and felt super comfortable. With the car, I could easily reach all my hiking destinations. I'd love to come back! :)

The Pigeon Tower in Brumby was just a great experience. The location, the courtyard and the building itself invite you to relax. If I had longer hair, Rapunzel would have had competition. :-) The bathroom (especially the bathtub) is so majestic, I didn't expect that. In general, everything is larger than expected. It looks a little different in the photos. The traffic on the A2 (due to diversion/accident) was a bit annoying, but subsided again in the evening and a heavenly calm poured over the place. During the day, you are on the road anyway. The Holunderradweg (partly still under construction) is fantastic for bike rides and allows you to discover the surroundings. The eco-bath in the neighboring village is definitely worth a recommendation. We are now a little ahead of some people, because who has ever been to the Taubenturm in Brumby? You really shouldn't miss this! We had a great time and say thank you! Y+J
