Beaufort village is only a 12 min walk from our studio which has public houses and a restaurants.l The studio is located on the Ring of Kerry route and is a 10 min drive away from Killarney & Killorglin. Kerry Airport is a short spin away (20mins) and there are fabulous golf courses & beaches located nearby. Our Labrador dog named Booker will be on site to greet you on arrival !

Strikeen House is in a breathtaking setting - peaceful with beautiful views of the gap - mere yards from a coffee shop/breakfast place and a full blown pub restaurant that is open late. Throughout our stay we literally had deer frolicking in the yard. It is private, quiet and the views amazing. The house is awesome with plenty of spaces to be as a family - dining, living, den, patio, eat in kitchen - it’s huge and all bedrooms have their own bathroom. We were more than comfortable and would return!

Stopped for some western Ireland fun, this place is very well situated for carantouhill, for skellig, ring of kerry. Really nice hosts, lots of advice and some fun chats, and perfect flat if you like looking out the back window into the nicest shades of green fields and hills.

Five stars for Caragh Lake House and Ettienne! Spectacular setting, well-appointed, spacious quarters, lovely decorated and unbeatable view! Ettienne was the most responsive and attentive host we have ever experienced with AirBNB, thoughtfully meeting us at his home for a personal tour, leaving us fresh goodies in the kitchen, and arranging dinner, golf and fishing reservations. He was a message away with any questions we had or guidance we needed. We noticed and appreciated all the special touches throughout his home. Don’t miss the hike within walking from the Lake House, unbelievably stunning views at the top! We hope to someday return to CLH.

We can’t wait to come back here! We’ve just returned from 4 nights staying in easily the nicest Airbnb we’ve ever booked; the photos don’t do this place justice. We’d initially planned to spend most of our time exploring the ring of Kerry but changed our plans to spend as much time at the house instead. The kayaks, sauna and use of the lake made for a really enjoyable weekend of family fun. Lorraine and Claire were fantastic hosts! We will be recommending this place to everyone!
