This cabin//tiny house (12’ x 33’) is located only 1 mile from the base of Makoshika State Park. Located in a small RV park. Amenities include: Microwave, Refrigerator, Keurig; k-cups, Hot water kettle, tea, Clothing Steamer, Shower with an on-demand water heater, smart TV, Netflix, Free Wi-Fi, Free parking, and porch. Pull-out couch that sleeps 2 and 2 twin mattresses in the loft. 📣As of 7/11/25: Brown leather couch is temporarily out of order so new pull-out couch provided is white cloth.

King's Guest Ranch Vacation Heaven

Our ranch is close to Theodore Roosevelt National Park, Medora, Medora Musical, Maah Daah Hey trail and restaurants. We offer a different experience than you will get it Medora. The ranch is a peaceful retreat while being an easy 8 mile drive from town. Guests routinely tell us the ranch rivals the national park for scenery and its right out their door. An added bonus, the drive to town is spectacular. If you need Wifi we have free Wifi in our guest lounge in our garage.

We are 40 miles from Medora & Roosevelt National Park a must-see destinations. You have a private entrance & patio. A BBQ bar with a pizza oven on the upper deck. Outdoor fire pit & (3) kayaks to use on the Heart River below.

The Cedar Post was built in 2021. This log cabin is one of 3 cabins located on our working cattle ranch. We are located in the heart of the Badlands, only 14 miles south of the Theodore Roosevelt National Park, North Unit, and 65 miles north of the TRNP South Unit. We have miles of hiking trails or riding trails if you prefer to bring your horses. This secluded cabin has it's own private hot tub and all your modern amenities but still has that rustic feel.
