Tui Bush Cabin

Take a short drive (approx 3kms) up the valley from Ngunguru to Tui Bush Cabin. This is where you can relax amongst the native bush, and listen to the tui's chatter from dawn till dusk. Our beautiful small wooden cabin comprises of a fitted kitchen with a 4 burner gas hob, convection microwave, toaster, jug, refrigerator and sink. A drop leaf table and chair. A double bed with sheets and duvet. Separate bathroom with flush toilet, basin and shower. Outside decking with table and chairs.

A gorgeous little green cabin set on a rural farm landscape, secluded with great views. With its own entrance driveway, you are guaranteed total privacy with a laid back country feel. The cabin is fully off grid and self-contained with everything you need for a relaxing break. Marua Retreat is located on a 444 acre sheep and cattle farm with beautiful rolling hills which you are free to explore/walk during your stay. A perfect place to escape the grind and get back to nature.

The Tawnys Gatehouse

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis.This recently established little (15 sq metre cabin plus separate bathroom and deck 16sq metres ) has magnificent views down to Tore Tore Island and across the bay to Paihia and Waitangi perfect for that short getaway. Close the oversized solid timber gate for complete privacy for your cabin and deck. Enjoy a drink and cook a snack on the outside covered barbeque. A beautiful quiet spot to enjoy a weekend or midweek getaway.

If you are after a relaxing holiday experience surrounded by nature, but want more creature comforts than camping can provide, then this beautiful open plan deck and separate cabin is just for you! Tucked away in a garden oasis, this property has a seaview over Mill Bay and across to the Karikari Peninsula. The spacious covered deck for entertaining includes a fully powered utility with kitchen, bathroom and laundry.
