Location!! Near all local attractions but extremely private. Beautiful views. Loved waking up to beautiful sunrises from the comfort of bed, and amazing stars at night from the hot tub on the back deck. This house delivers a great experience. Would absolutely stay again

For where this property is located - you can’t do better. In fact it was probably one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve stayed at all around the country. Clean, large, and beautifully peaceful with a lot of little extras. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed.

Our hosts were very responsive in addressing our queries and requests. We had a minor plumbing issue, but it was resolved within an hour. The location of the property is excellent, and the house was very roomy and clean. I would strongly recommend the property to everyone who wants a convenient yet quiet location with beautiful views from the deck.

Beautiful property! The decor was top notch and the kitchen was fully stocked. We had a small concern and Lea handled it very professionally. Overall Lea was very kind and quick to respond. Highly recommend!

We were a combined bunch of 8 adults and a 3 yr old. We had an incredible time, despite having a week of mostly rainy weather. There is plenty to do in the house and it is very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with small appliances and utensils. The house is kid-friendly and has all you need to entertain the kids and accommodate toddlers. The location is quiet and secluded, but close enough to a variety of attractions to keep you busy in good weather. We had a precious time and were sad to leave. Jenny was very communicative and responsive. She provided us with all the details we needed to enjoy the stay.

We really enjoyed our stay! The kitchen was clean and adequately stocked. The family room TV was huge and a great spot for a family movie night. The bedrooms were nicely decorated and free of clutter. The basement game room was a lot of fun and the hot tub was a fun addition, too. The best part about the home was the proximity to Swift Run Gap entrance to Shenandoah!

Our stay at this Airbnb was incredible!!! The rooms and living spaces were comfortable and clean, and there was a ton of provided items such as towels for the hot tubs, blankets, games, and tons of kitchenware. The host was very responsive to questions and proactively provided information for check-in and check-out! The location was quiet and beautiful, and was the perfect cabin get away for our big group. Would definitely love to come back!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home over Memorial Day Weekend in late May. The house looks exactly like the photos — surrounded by lush greenery and peaceful nature, it was the perfect escape. Everything was super comfortable and well-equipped: the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, the beds were cozy, and the amenities were fantastic. We especially appreciated the hot tub and sauna — such a great touch that made our trip feel extra relaxing. The location is also great: we visited a few local wineries and explored the nearby town of Harrisonburg. There’s a supermarket just 15 minutes away, which was very convenient. Wi-Fi is available, but honestly, we barely used it — we were too busy enjoying nature and unplugging from everyday life. There’s also a lovely fire pit area, which we didn’t get a chance to use this time, but it looked great for future guests. Thank you so much for hosting us — we had a wonderful time and would absolutely come back!

The Linden Chalet was a beautiful place for a friends getaway. Very private and secluded, but also an easy drive to some good wineries. Michelle was a wonderful host. Very responsive and accommodating! Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

I booked this airbnb to spend the weekend celebrating my daughter who loves staycations and cozy cabins and Jeff & Sarah's place was a dream! Every room was thoughtfully designed and since we have young children, we didnt have to pack their high chairs, pack n play and cups/plates. It felt right at home. Costco and many big grocery stores are about 20ish minutes away - super convenient! I cant wait to bring more of my family members to enjoy the space in the fall. This place truly is a gem and is very charming!

Wow, this is a great house and a perfect location. Right on the river where we fished, kayaked, waded (a little cold for swimming) and generally hung out on the riverbank and played nonstop for 2 days with a bunch of little kids. And then just 15 mins or less from groceries in Luray and 30-45 mins up to the 211 entrance into Shenandoah for hiking. The house was terrific and this kitchen had everything we needed for cooking all our meals. Not those crappy secondhand thrift store pots and pans that are missing lids or covered in gunk you find in a lot of places, always missing that one thing you need to make your meal. Plus little things like collanders and cheese graters. The beds were terrific and the beautiful wall of windows was the perfect compliment to the big room (plus toy room upstairs) where we spent most of our indoor time. We'd come back here in a heartbeat and would hope to find our way here this summer when we can do more swimming. Thanks!!
