Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Basque Country

Stunning place and would definitely come back. The house is self cooling however does not have a traditional air conditioner that allows you to adjust temperature. This wasn’t an issue however it is something to be mindful of if you are very sensitive to heat. Overall the place is an oasis unlike any I’ve stayed in before and the wineries and towns surrounding it are amazing.

We had such a wonderful time during our 3rd visit to San Sebastián. The location was excellent and the place was clean and comfortable. The washer was great and having AC was perfect . Carlos was responsive to all of our needs during the stay.

Mucha tranquilidad y muy buena ubicación, la casa es grande y muy chula, perfecta para pasar unos días con los amigos.

Maravilloso lugar. Tuvimos un pequeño problema porque la habitación principal no se oscurece del todo (hay unos mosaicos de colores traslucidos en el techo) y nuestra hija de dos años, acostumbrada a la oscuridad total, no podía dormir la siesta y por la mañana se levantó muy temprano. Algo que tener en cuenta si viajas con bebés, pero para los adultos un antifaz y listo! No es una pega, es más que nos hubiera gustado estar informados de que no era posible oscurecer la estancia del todo. Pero la verdad es que es de los lugares más especiales en donde nos hemos alojado y estaba todo al más mínimo detalle. Judit, la chica que nos atendió, para mí impecable! Encantadora y con muchísima sabiduría de la zona, historia y costumbres. Nos dió muchísimas recomendaciones para que aprovecharamos al máximo nuestra experiencia, gracias!!

Jon's place was a lovely stay for a group of four! the apartment was as described, comfortable, and in a great location. Jon was responsive before and during our stay, and met us at the building to check in. The unit was cozy and we had a pleasant stay -- would recommend for a group of 3-5!

Such a perfect location. Close to San Sebastián but beautifully situated in the mountains nearby. We loved our stay and can’t say enough about Kontxi and her family. So kind, so sweet. We’ve stayed at many, many Airbnb’s but Kontxi’s home will always hold a special place in our hearts. Maybe this says a lot about the Basque region of Spain and those who live in this amazing place. We spent a week here with our daughter, her husband, and our granddaughter and were very sad when we had to leave. Thank you Kontxi!

We stayed for a week at this lovely apartment. The location is amazing, you can see the beach from the balcony and it's walkable in literally afew step at the bottom of the road. The apartment has everything you need to make you feel right at home. The town is so beautiful with so many lovely restaurants we didn't actually stay to cook but if you did you have everything you need and more. One balcony you get the morning sun, lovely to sit and have your morning coffee and the other you get the afternoon and evening sun. If we returned to Zarautz we will definitely stop here again. We didn't want to leave.

die Wohnung hat eine perfekte Lage im Hafen wo Restaurants und Bars sind, man kann viel unternehmen und wenn man auf dem Balkon sitzt, hat man einen herrlichen Blick auf den Hafen, Ausstattung wie in der Beschreibung, gemütlich , sauber und es fehlt nichts , wir können diese Wohnung nur weiter empfehlen wenn man in diesen hübschen Ort reisen möchte. Sollten wir noch mal herkommen, werden wir wieder versuchen die Wohnung zu buchen

Great location for walking to the old town and Guggenheim. Begoña always responded to queries very quickly and she gave clear instructions on how to find and enter the apartment. It is a beautiful apartment and we felt right at home straight away. The beds were very comfy, and the apartment was very clean and tidy.

Ha sido un fin de semana encantador, agradable y cómodo. Nos ha encantado todo, la ubicación, las instalaciones, los anfitriones, las cosas que hacer en los alrededores… repetiremos sin duda.

Bonito apartamento y pueblo. Muy céntrico. Supermercado a 2 minutos andando también hay muchos restaurantes (no todos buenos). Mucho ambiente por la noche. Difícil aparcar pero Eva te ofrece Pàrquing, así que mejor cogerlo. Muy recomendable para pasar un fin de semana.

We loved our stay at this flat. Spent four nights and it was extremely comfortable with an incredible view- my husband and I loved sitting on the balcony each evening watching the surfers. Highly recommend staying in Gros- it feels more local and was super quiet at night. Plus an easy walk into old town. Wish we could have stayed longer! Hosts were incredibly responsive and friendly.

Die perfekte Wohnung für einen Aufenthalt in San Sebastian. Mitten im Zentrum, beste Lage, trotzdem völlig ruhig, stilvoll eingerichtet und tolles, großes Bett. Maria ist die perfekte Gastgeberin. Kennt alle Restaurants, ist super nett und hilfsbereit. Bei Fragen hat sie immer sofort geantwortet. Und wir hatten Glück und konnten sogar ihren Tiefgaragen Stellplatz nutzen (gegen Gebühr, aber deutlich billiger als die Parkhäuser - Parken ist sehr teuer in San Sebastian). Wir können die Wohnung (5. Stock mit Aufzug) zu 100% empfehlen.

The apartment is lovely and has everything you could possibly need. Location is great with the supermarket across the road, beach 4 minute walk and the old town about 7 mins away. Jon was flexible with check in and check out. Highly recommend this apartment.

Wir können uns den anderen sehr positiven Bewertungen für Mikel und seine Wohnung nur anschließen. Das Viertel Gros ist ein wunderbarer Ausgangspunkt mit vielen Restaurants und Geschäften. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut fußläufig erreichbar. Der Strand Zurriola liegt vor der Türe und bietet mit den vielen Surfern immer vielbzu Schauen, auch vom Balkon der Wohnung aus. Mikel sekbst ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, ein toller Gastgeber. Absolute Topempfehlung.

We had a great stay here, it was in the perfect location and the apartment is lovely! The hosts also went above and beyond to help me when I lost a precious item as I am not familiar with the area!

It’s a good sleep there, apartments decorated very new.have all the appliances for cooking.

Helen kept us well informed of where to park and arrival instructions. We arrived later than expected due to car issues and she arranged for a lovely helpful friend to meet us. The apartment was immaculately clean and well equipped, with everything that you could need plus lots of extra touches. There was milk, Beer, water and soft drink in the fridge which was appreciated and plenty of tea/ coffee and condiments if needed. The apartment was spacious and everywhere smelt clean and inviting. I would not hesitate to recommend staying at Helens place

Rocio ci ha guidati, accolti con un sorriso e ci ha dato le indicazioni utili per la nostra piccola vacanza. L'appartamento è in una zona molto verde, chiusa e circondata da giardini. Una piacevole camminata in viali alberati e sei in centro. Molto apprezzati il parcheggio per l'auto sotto casa e i due bagni. Grazie

Our stay in Getxo was beautiful. The views are stunning, the entire town is lovely. It was an easy nice walk to the apartment from the metro. We walked along side the cliffs to the cute restaurants and had a bite at the pub on the end which was delicious and the staff are very friendly. Our host was very responsive and sweet. She went above and beyond to assist us with calling a cab and making sure we got to our next destination on time. Thank you so much for opening your home to us!

Der Kontakt mit Denise war sehr angenehm und freundlich. Die Angaben waren immer deutlich und verständlich. Das Appartement war sauber, sehr gepflegt und gemütlich. Die Altstadt war für uns ohne weiteres zu Fuß erreichbar, aber es gab direkt vor dem Haus auch einen Bus. Parkplätze gab es auch genug (P & R, aber auch die "blauen" Parkplätze konnte man ab 20 Uhr bis 9 Uhr morgens umsonst benutzen. An Wochenenden und an Feiertagen sogar den ganzen Tag umsonst.
