Very nice place, close to UPV/EHU via the A3528 (5-10minutes) Easy to get to Bilbao using A2153 - just be wary of bus times on weekends , leave plenty of time in case you need to make a flight. Teresa is very nice host and the house was quiet and comfortable. The airport is near, but the planes don't start untill around 7am and stop around 12am so I didn't notice them at all. Note that a taxi from the airport to the house is about 16 euro (2024), and if you're arriving after 10pm there isn't another option unless you want to walk a bit. Loiu is a picturesque village/town with a few bars and cafés. All in all it's a very nice place to stay if you want something quiet and near the university.

We had a pleasant stay at Begoña's! The room is very functional, close to everything on foot, faithful to the descriptions and photos! Begona was very welcoming, full of good tips to allow us a wonderful stay in Plentzia! We recommend the accommodation and the host and will happily come back!

What can I say ? I have nothing but positive things to say. The place is amazing but what makes it more special is the host. Such a lovely warm hearted woman who made my experience so memorable and I was taken back by her kindness. She is very kind and very supportive . Lovely nice place to say so cosy clean and comfortable. But most importantly the host is amazing she made me feel so welcome and supported me and check in on me throughout my whole stay. Honestly one of the best hosts I have come across . Nothing is ever too much and she was always on hand to answer and queries . Guys if your looking for a nice cosy stay and a trustworthy host look no further you wont be disappointed. This place is a great location lots of shops and restaurants close by and easily accessible as its close to the Metro. Thank you so much for this amazing experience and if I come back to Bilbao I will for sure be staying here again because I am sad that my stay has come to an end. Just amazing .

Mentxu was an excellent hostess. I responded promptly to all questions before check-in and during the stay. The instructions she gave us were clear and her suggestions for the area were very helpful. I would choose the same accommodation again the next time I visit Bilbao.
