It would be normal and correct in a French-speaking region to have an information binder and explanatory notes in the accommodation in French. Plus, it would also be nice to have French TV channels. The shared access with the other landlord is very dirty.

Karin is an awesome person! She goes out of her way for her guests’ comfort and convenience. Me and my wife had a great experience. Highly recommended!

It felt like stepping into an art gallery—every corner of the house was stunningly aesthetic and full of character. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the kind and thoughtful hosts, whose hospitality instantly made me feel at home. The space was not only visually beautiful but also filled with subtle touches that showed true care and intention. And then there was Ina, their lovely dog, who stole my heart completely. So sweet and affectionate—I still think about her. Though I stayed only one night, it felt like visiting an old friend’s home, and I left with unforgettable memories. This place was nothing short of perfect. Honestly, it’s the kind of hidden gem I almost don’t want to share, because it’s that special. I can’t wait to return, hopefully for a longer stay next time.

What a studio, and what a host! From the booking process to checking out, Christian was so so lovely and friendly. Truly am excellent host. I reached the place super early and was very lucky enough to be able to check in straight away! It was beyond easy to reach by buses from Mellingen/Baden/Wohlen train stations. And what an incredible view from the bus stops. The furniture is beautiful yet comfortable, I love a bean-to-cup coffee machine, and the washer/dryer was super helpful to do laundry halfway during my trip. Definitely recommend this studio and any place run by Christian. Hopefully I can come back soon to explore more of Mellingen & the surrounding villages.

I had booked the apartment for our kitchen technicians and the gentlemen were delighted in every way. The apartment was exactly as described - parking for a large sprinter was available - there was nothing missing, Cleanliness, furnishings and also the check-in was exactly as one desires. Monika is a great and very nice hostess, with whom you can just feel comfortable. So warm and always reachable and also very helpful. We were still missing power plugs for the installation and I was then able to send it to Monika by mail from Germany and she was immediately ready to help us. A lot of praise to Monika and when we are back in the area I will be very happy to book with Monika again.

Lou's accommodation matches the description and we liked it very much. You can reach the lake and shopping opportunities on foot and have a parking space right outside the door. Check-in went smoothly. Overall, we had a great stay.

Very nice and artistically furnished AirBnB surrounded by hills on the Doubs with everything you need. The hosts are friendly and open. No internet far and wide and a car is definitely an advantage. Great to escape the ordinary :) Full recommendation!

Outstanding location for short walk or free tram to the old city. The riverside walk and neighborhood streets made us feel very comfortable to walk anywhere. The free tram came in handy during the few rain showers we encountered. Local street food and take outs are varied, reasonable and delicious. Basel the Tiny But Shiny city delivered a great visit before we started our Rhine river cruise, which was just a short walk along the river.

Very well equipped, spacious and quiet accommodation. The area is beautiful. The accommodation offers a beautiful lake view and has a garden to share with children's games, our daughter loved it. Underfloor heating is a real plus during cold periods. Anja is available and responsive with complete discretion. We recommend it without a second thought.

Very friendly and easy going host. Smooth communication. It was a short business trip for our guest. Apartment has everything you need. Cleanliness was not a question, very nice and well equiped. Can recommmend when visiting this area.
