Cottage vacation rentals in Barranco de Guayedra

We had a great stay with our two young kids. Really happy we chose to base ourselves a bit higher up and off the beaten track, got to explore a different side of the island. The home is very cosy and had everything we needed. The kids loved the patio/garden and we enjoyed a soak in the hot tub after putting them to bed. Lovely local wine and cheese on arrival as well, really made us feel welcome. Thank you!

We were travelling with two families (4 adults/4 kids) and enjoyed our stay in the beautiful finca a lot. Wonderful area, quite secluded location, very quiet, only one neighbor. Great view over the valley, nice location to explore the north of Gran Canaria. Friendly welcome by Antonio and Marta, who were always available during the stay. Very well-kept garden and plenty of play areas for the children. We highly recommend, thank you so much!

Cottage très sympa, bien situé à 10 min de Tejeda en voiture. Splendide vue sur les Roque Nublo et Roque Bentayga ! Jacuzzi sur la terrasse : excellent ! Ne pas monter en voiture car vous ne pourrez pas faire demi-tour. Se garer sur le terrain vague à gauche juste sous les maisons.

de villa staat in een prachtige omgeving, we voelden ons gelijk thuis. De schoon maker was nog bezig toen we aankwamen en hij liet ons het hele huis zien en vertelde hoe alles werkte. Hij gaf ons ook een handige rondwandelapp Daar hebben we er 2 van gewandeld, ze startte vanuit Corvo, ze waren lang, veel klimmen en dalen maar zo mooi, echt de moeite waard. De kers op de taart was de jaccuzi, in de tuin, daar hebben we elke dag gebruik van gemaakt, heerlijk!! Verder hebben we leuke dorpjes bezocht, de week was zo voorbij. Jammer dat het weer wat minder was, best veel regen gehad maar dat kan ook niet anders in zo'n mooie groene omgeving.

Great stay in the house. A quite and peaceful place. House as describe: nice decoration, beautiful garden and all amenities (BBQ, Jacuzzi, stove...). Oscar is a super host, he gives us some advice about what to visit and always answer to our questions quickly. We really recommend this place.

Una casa super bonita alejada del bullicio de la ciudad. Ideal para aquellas personas que necesitan desconectar del día a día. La casa estaba impecable y nuestra estancia ahí fue perfecta.

This is a beautiful house with great amenities and a truly stunning view down towards the coast. We loved breakfasts out on the patio, and time in the pool which is maintained at the perfect temperature. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom well-appointed. It had everything we might need during our week long stay. Ramon met us at the airport to guide us to the property via a supermarket the first evening. He was very patient when the car hire desk was running slowly with only one staff member! This was extremely useful as I would say it would be very hard to find the property unaided the first time, as it is up a little lane at the far end of the village. It also needs you to go past the driveway and turn around just along the lane as it is a steep turn onto the drive itself. Having been shown it once, we had no problem with finding it again. We agree with others that a high wheelbase car is a good idea for the village roads. Overall Ramon’s place is highly recommended.

Der Aufenthalt bei Miguel war super! Das Apartment ist wunderschön und ruhig gelegen, wir haben uns direkt wie zuhause gefühlt. Auch die Kommunikation war super einfach. Rundum toll!

Absolutely loved Yedras villa. Stunning inside and out with super comfy beds. The pool is bigger than it looks in the photos too! Looking forward to coming back x

Het ruime en moderne huis heeft alles wat je maar nodig kunt hebben. Een keuken met alle voorzieningen, lekkere bedden, terras met zon en goede zonwering, woonkamer met diverse zithoeken. Het uitzicht op de bergen is echt fenomenaal. Absolute aanrader! Alhoewel er een bushalte om de hoek is, is eigen vervoer wel noodzakelijk. Het sfeervolle Santa Lucia ligt op loopafstand met een paar restaurants en een kleine supermarkt.

A beautiful mountain home, great for exploring the mountain region of Gran Canaria, and perfect for a family. We had pretty bad weather, so the pellet stove to warm up the kitchen was *very* welcome! Ana offered local suggestions and left us some local goodies to try. We had some problems with hot water for showers, but Ana is sending someone to have a look. Beautiful views and a stunning garden.

Alejandro’s place is even more beautiful than the pictures, the views from all terraces are simply stunning, so peaceful and quiet. The inside is tidy, has everything anyone could need and Alejandro is very easy to communicate with and is very helpful. We would highly recommend staying here. Amazing value for money.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne letzte Ferienwoche bei Raquel. Blockhaus war sauber und geräumig. Für 4 Personen sind Betten zur Verfügung. Das Appartement gleich nebenan durften wir ebenfalls benutzen. Da wir 3 kleinere Kinder hatten, schliefen wir aber alle im Blockhaus. Der Pool war kalt aber ein klares Highlight. Grosser Umschwung. Cristian war sehr hilfsbereit. Wir wurden sogar mit Avocados und Zitronen frisch von den Bäumen verwöhnt. Wunderschöne Aussicht auf Galdàr und den Atlantik, traumhafte Sternennächte auf dem Sitzplatz. Das einzige, was wir bemängeln können ist, dass wir im Haus selber kaum Warmwasser hatten. Cristian hat sich sehr bemüht, konnte es aber auch nicht lösen. Vielen Dank- gerne wieder!!!

Dieses Haus ist der Traum! Unsere Tochter konnte zu jeder Zeit im Pool spielen, da dieser direkt und nahe zur Terrasse liegt. Dies gab uns Eltern die Möglichkeit entspannt zu kochen und geniessen. Top ausgerüstet, gerade für Gäste, die gerne kochen. Sehr sauber über alles! Wunderschöne und ruhige Anlage. Wir waren rundum glücklich und können das Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Sechs von fünf Sternen! Danke! 🙏

Tuvimos unas vacaciones excelentes en el apartamento de Jonathan. Las vistas y las instalaciones (piscina, billar, terrazas) son increíbles. Un lugar apartado, tranquilo y privado donde desconectar y disfrutar. El apartamento es pequeño pero cuenta con todo lo necesario para pasar una estupenda estancia. Como única pega el techo es un poco bajo en un lateral y tienes que tener cuidado si eres alto pero son cosas de la construcción que entendemos. En cualquier caso, tanto Jonathan como Jacinto fueron muy amables y nos atendieron en todas las dudas que tuvieron incluso nos dejaron acomodarnos antes en la casa. We had a wonderful 4 days at Casa Elea. and spent most of our time on the veranda with stunning views of the valley. I missed the house after we left. Getting there by motorbike was initially a bit of a challenge but we soon got to know the way. A path next to the house joins the trail connecting Santa Lucia to Tunte which have shops and restaurants. Communication with Esmerelda was very good and the neighbours were super helpful when we accidentally locked ourselves out without our phones. I would not hesitate to recommend Casa Elea.
