House vacation rentals in Barra de Potosí

It was what we wanted for a weekend in Ixtapa. A quiet place where you can rest without worrying about parking or amenities. Pedro was always very helpful.

Absolutely stunning property. Incredible location - far enough away from the “Centro” to feel separated and private, yet, a short walkable distance to wonderful restaurants, the marina/port (for water taxi, snorkeling tours) and the downtown area. Staff were nice, and over delivered on every level. Short walk to a small cove for private beach (also had great snorkelling). One of the most memorable places we’ve stayed.

An extremely pleasant vacation, the subdivision is a quiet place except for some neighbors who I imagine rented the house too and did not respect the pool rules, otherwise everything was excellent, it is in a very good location (we moved around in a private car) because from there the most popular beaches of Zihuatanejo and Ixtapa are quite close, there is an Oxxo right at the entrance of the subdivision which is very much appreciated. The attention Eduardo and his wife gave us was excellent, always attentive and very kind, we would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in this house and we really loved it. Everything was super clean and the photos in the listing totally match what's there, although in person it looks even better. The host was very attentive and was available to us at all times. The location is excellent, close to the beach and several shops, so we had everything at hand. The rooms were very clean and the beds are quite comfortable, we rested very well. We went with three cars and they all entered the garage without any problem, which was super convenient. The kitchen is very well equipped, with almost everything we needed. As a detail, some patio lights didn't work, but there was still good lighting. And the pool table had a small detail, but we still had a lot of fun playing it. In short, highly recommended, we would definitely come back.

The location is privileged, it is very close to the beach, I liked the service, they are attentive at all times. A place I highly recommend.

The house is so beautiful! It is impossible to capture it in pictures. My wife and I were completely blown away when we first walked in. We knew the house would be nice and we knew the view would be nice, but when we arrived in person it far exceeded our expectations. The inside of the house is artfully decorated and very spacious. The outside has a beautiful infinity pool that is generously sized and beautifully landscaped. From the furniture to the art to the bathroom, the entire house looks and feels luxurious and is authentically Balinese. The wi-fi at the house is also excellent. My wife and I worked from home here for a month and it was seamless. The house is located in a gated community with private security. All employees in the community are great and do everything with a smile. Since you are high up on the mountain, it is a bit of a hike to and from the beaches if you wish to walk (about 20 minutes on a steep but well kept and paved hill). However, the security can hire you a taxi to pick you up from the house and it is cheap to go anywhere in Zihua by taxi. There is also parking right in front of the house if you wish to rent a car. Susana is also an awesome host, extremely accommodating and incredibly responsive to any questions! Definitely stay here!

Spectacular, the house is very large, the pool is very clean and the very warm attention of the hosts . We loved staying there.

Had a great stay here. Our flight came in very late, but her co-host Juliette was ready and waiting to let us in. She was very sweet, gave us plenty of information about the area, and offered a ride to center so we could grab food before the restaurants closed. House is located in a residential neighborhood with easy walk to beach, center, deportiva, and grocery. Overall they were very accommodating and if we needed something (extra pot, extra set of keys, etc.) they were happy to oblige. They also mentioned plans of adding a second bathroom to the upstairs based on previous reviews. Overall it was a good stay and we appreciated their hospitality!

Great value for the size of the home. Sadly had to leave due to an emergency so I didn't get to enjoy it long enough, but I'll definitely be back! Great hosts were very understanding and helpful.

Shelley’s place is exactly as described. It is a wonderful place to watch and listen to the waves. The beach is beautiful, very clean, and great to walk. It is peaceful and not at all overrun with tourists, which makes it feel secluded and safe. One thing that is not mentioned in other reviews is that the house is directly behind the airport. When planes take off is can be quite startling the first few times you hear it, as they are very close when flying over the house. The good news is that it takes less than 30 seconds for them to get out over the ocean and then the noise is gone. It took a little while to get used to it, but once we did it became a non issue. Plus the fact the the flights are few and far between and do not happen early in the morning or late at night makes it even more tolerable. It would not keep us from returning!

We were delighted with the house, it is a spacious place, clean of easy access and close to the beaches by car. Super friendly host. It is definitely a great option. In addition to beautiful lighting in the evenings and a super cute kitten who is always attentive to welcome you as well.

Everything is very good with the house. The stay was great. Very nice house and thoughtful. Very spacious and suitable for large families or large groups. Very quiet and we really enjoyed that we went with many children, they had a great time and enjoyed the pool. I highly recommend it!

If you are planning a trip to Zihuatanejo and you should be, it is a true hidden gem, I highly recommend Leana’s place. It is ideally located, very comfortable and Lleana is just as helpful as you would want anyone to be. If you are on a budget you won’t find better.

We absolutely loved our stay! The place was immaculately clean and in the perfect location. The hosts have truly thought of everything—from an iron and hair dryer to a welcome drink in the fridge and a helpful area guide. Every detail made our stay more comfortable. Highly recommend and would definitely book again!

We spent some incredible days as a family, the place is really outstanding, and the people who took care of us were first-class, the cook makes super delicious food, we got very fresh local food. It's really worth being there. Comfortable beds, clean towels, comfortable furniture, perfect amenities.

Hello, the house is very beautiful, it's really worth it. My family and I had an amazing time. We were able to try two restaurants that are a 5 min walk on the beach and the food is very good. The pool is great, it has shade that helps a lot, unlike some others. Thank you very much to Laura.

Dieter’s house was amazing. Located right on the beach, equipped with all necessary amenities for a short/long stay, and only about a 10-minute walk on the beautiful beach to the village. Two lounge chairs and a hammock were a great plus and enhanced our relaxing experience. Dieter is a great host, very quick in responding, and understanding of one’s needs. The staff on the property were all wonderful people. 20-liter drinking water bottles are available. Highly recommend Dieter’s house.

I went to spend Mother's Day and it was really wonderful, it is a house with everything you need and enough, clean towels for the house and the pool area, in the kitchen and bathroom. The beds are very comfortable and clean, the pool is spectacular, very quiet and the beach is very beautiful. It's really worth visiting this property, you won't regret it, it has everything you need, the whole house has fans and air conditioning, you don't need to go anywhere because the beach is just a few steps away, right in front of it!!!! which is the greatest thing!!! The cleaning of 10. My family was happy!!! Thank you very much José Luis for letting us stay at your house. We are definitely planning to be back soon.
