An amazing stay at this wonderful villa! The house is spacious, modern and impeccably clean. The pool is sublime, perfect for cooling off in the Portuguese sun. In addition, the tennis court was a great bonus, ideal for sports lovers. The garden is well maintained, adding a touch of tranquility. The location is also very convenient, perfect for exploring the surrounding area. I highly recommend this villa for a relaxing holiday, between relaxation and sports activities! I hope to return soon.

If you are looking for a place with all the charm of Portugal, I highly recommend this very pleasant place, indeed as described in some reviews a nearby road with a lot of traffic but frankly it's okay and then a road unfortunately cannot be moved. The environment is really quiet, pleasant and above all close to amenities and a great water point. The house is even better than the pictures. The welcome from the parents of really charming and welcoming people, the exchange with the impeccable host, always responsive. I really validate this place, it's a well-deserved 5 stars.

a wonderful calming place to enjoy with friends. The river house was phenomenal to swim in each morning then to jump in a jacuzzi was unreal relaxation. Manuel was a delight, easy to talk to, and helpful. I will be back!

Sergio did everything to make this an amazing holiday. The villa is even better than it looks on the photos with a fabulous setting and a panoramic view of the surrounding hills. Everything was spotlessly clean and anything you might need for a great holiday was already supplied at the villa. We loved the welcome pack of local produce and drinks and the helpful tips on days out and things to see. All our family had a wonderful week. Thank you.

Maria’s 5-bed villa in is an absolute gem. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the love and attention to detail she’s poured into every corner. The villa is immaculately clean, spacious, and beautifully designed with modern comforts throughout. Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided, making our stay seamless and relaxing. The views are simply breathtaking—perfect for morning coffee or evening wine. It’s clear Maria cares deeply about creating a warm, welcoming space, and it shows. One of the best Airbnb stays we’ve ever had! The weather was a bit chilly so unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy the lovely pool and bbq. But I’m defo coming back to this very place. Obrigado Maria.

Second time we stayed here with a group! The place is meticulously taken care of with lots of loving elements. Traditional style and homely feel.

We were 2 families staying together and we had ample space in this well appointed sizeable villa in sleepy local village outside of Viana do Castelo, which is a nice town. There are a few local restaurants in the village and a cafe/bar a short walk down by the river. The river wasn't swim-able though. We spent time relaxing by the lovely saltwater pool which isn’t overlooked and is set in the secluded gardens overlooking fields. We felt a car was essential to visit local towns and national parks. The cleaner came mid way through our 2 week stay and changed bedding towels and cleaned throughout, which was a nice bonus. Jose was there to greet us and gave us helpful local advice We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay and would recommend the villa.

It was a pleasure to spend a few days in Ralf's place. It's a wonderful house in a unique setting!! We had the bad luck that during all our days it rained a lot but thanks to the comforts of the house we were able to spend it fantastically and enjoy each space. But the best part was certainly not the house, nor was the environment Ana and Ralf who were aware of us at all times. Thank you for that💖💖

The house itself is beautiful and full of many treasures. Fatima has created a very special space. Lots to do in the area. Fatima was very helpful and gave us great recommendations etc. A very positive experience for us.

Fantastic accommodation. Beautiful gardens, pool and house. Marcus is a very good host, and looked after us so well - bringing us little gifts like fresh orange juice just made the experience so much better. One of our children really wanted to keep a huge lemon he’d found in the garden but we told him he would have to ask. Instead of just saying no, or yes, Marcus said “sure, but why don’t we make some lemonade together!”. Just so thoughtful and kind. The house is very well equipped and beautifully furnished. Lots of attention to detail. Pool is very large and everything is perfectly clean. Marcus and Rick really did go out of their way to ensure our stay was successful without ever being intrusive, so please don’t hesitate to book!

We had a great week getting to know Minho and Gerês The house is in a great central location. We were two families and benefited from all the comfort, privacy, and amenities of the house. Hugo and his friendly family were of unsurpassed hospitality. Well done and even another chance.

A very spacious house with one bathroom per room. The summer kitchen is very convenient . A beautiful garden with the pool very nice. Chantal responds to the message very quickly. We had a very good stay. thanks to Chantal.

Great place to stay with family and friends. Beautifully decorated with original Portuguese objects, this old house has a interesting history and soul. Additionally, you have at your disposal the modern swimming pool, tennis court and very well maintained park. Perfect option to chill out and discover beautiful region of Northern Portugal.

Typical house and very pleasant to live in. The setting is beautiful with open views over the vineyards. All the comforts you need to have a good quiet stay. It is great location for touring the area by car. Joana is an available and friendly host! We'll be happy to go back!
