Here in quiet Frisian Rohel you can really be outside, feel the wind in your hair and the sun on your skin. Cycling and hiking along the meadows and (cold) swimming in the Tjeukemeer. What a unique place, beautifully decorated in detail, there is atmosphere in and around the house. The stove was burning and the lights in the house were already on, making it nice to 'come home'. Special with the animals around you that you can experience from the stable house. Horse coaching is recommended. A place to relax, to inspire and also nice for a family. Edith and her family are wonderful hosts.

Great place with very good amenities. There was nothing missing. The kitchen was superbly stocked. Washing machine, dryer and other things also available for a longer stay. Outdoor facilities are excellently maintained and invite you to linger. The only drawback is the lack of sun protection on the two bedroom windows. As a result, the rooms heat up a lot in continuous sunlight and can be cooled only with difficulty through the partially opening window. For the living room, this problem does not exist due to the existing awning. We felt very comfortable.

This storybook cottage could not be in a better spot! Very relaxing with privacy on one side plus’s great views of the canal’s with boats passing by right in front of you on the other! Martin was a perfect host and has a great eye for attention to detail. We would love to come back in the future!

We had a wonderful time at the tiny house! Jeroen was very attentive, the snack plate was exactly as we imagined and was completed to match our arrival. Jeroen also kept asking if everything was okay and if we felt comfortable. The tiny house is furnished with a lot of love for detail and very tastefully, it is cozy and invites you to relax. We felt very comfortable all around and have already recommended it to friends and family. Thank you so much to Jeroen and Claire! :)
