Family-friendly vacation rentals in Bandera

The Casita felt very welcoming and so were Brett and Jenna! The place was exactly as described, but on top of that was the peacefulness and beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed our stay by also firing up the grill for some birthday carne asada and pool time. Would deffinitely be back again!

Tim’s place (Rio Bajo) was very delightful! We enjoyed sun bathing by the river, watching Tim’s bird feeder attract many cardinals and all sorts of beautiful birds, hot tub time, star glazing and so much more! Thank you Tim for sharing your beautiful place with us!🙂

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. They have a great thing going with rescue animals and birds. Micky took us on a tour and told us heart warming stories how they adopted these animals. This was an “experience “ and not typical Airbnb accommodations! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was so comfortable, clean, cozy. The bed was amazing and the hosts were incredibly friendly and supportive! Can’t wait to stay again!

First of I have to say the house is more beautiful in person! They have everything you would need for your stay including pots and pans, silverware, bowls, plates…. Etc. My favorite part out of everything was the backyard nobody wanted to go back inside the house. The dogs loved!!! The backyard space it was big lots of room for them to roam around. They also have a small gated space near the master bedroom so your dogs can use the bathroom. We used it at night since there is a light and we can see the dogs. The fencing is perfect. I had a chihuahua and there was no way for her to fit underneath it. They did an excellent job covering it. The speakers are through out the house. We loved them!! If you have kids but want to still explore a winery. There is a place 20 minutes away from this Airbnb. It’s called Grapetown vineyard and they also have a safari tour as well. Overall the house is breathtaking perfect for a big family or a little getaway. We will be back for sure!

The location was exactly as described and conveniently located for our purpose. The condo was very clean and modern. Overall, we were very pleased with the total package.

This is a lovely home with many amenities and great space! The home is located at the end of a very quiet, small road, and is just a few blocks away from main roads. Kristin was friendly and helpful, start to finish, and we had a great stay!

We stayed a week at the river hollow retreat. We got lucky recent rains had the river over a two feet high in most places the fist couple of days. The property was beautiful and if you want peace and seclusion with no other people in site this is a great option. We had a 5 yo boy and a dog and never did we worry about where they went in the river. The location is great close to anything you may need but far enough away from kerrville to feel you are in total seclusion. The hosts were great and very tentative to your needs if they arise. My family will go back to the river hollow retreat.

My family and I had been searching for a home that would have the space and such that we needed. We found Vanessa’s beautiful home and it was more than expected. We had an amazing time and my kids enjoyed the pool so much. My husband even made a comment that he would buy her place if he could! Vanessa was a responsive and accommodating host. I couldn’t have asked for a better host. Thank you for everything! We are looking to rebook if plans don’t fall through for next year!

This is our second time out to the property. The property was just as if not more beautiful as we remember. The cabins were also very clean, welcoming, and warm just like last time. We love it out here!!!! Bruce and his lovely wife are absolutely wonderful people!!! We will definitely keep coming back!

Place was amazing but it is a smart house. We had trouble with the TV and lights hooking it up on our phones. The TV wanted us to download an app and add a credit card. The outside was amazing, especially the hot tub. Only down fall was the storm knocked the outside lights out so we swam in the dark. Overall, it was amazing!

We had an amazing time at this house in Kerrville. The photographs of this house just don’t do it justice - It’s even better in person. The location is 10 minutes max from town and has the most lovely views from the backyard. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals from scratch- probably the best equipped kitchen we’ve ever had in a vacation rental. The beds are very comfortable. The living space was roomy and had such interesting artwork. The back porch was a delight to sit out on any time of day. The pool was a little chilly the weekend we were there but that’s just because a big storm system had gone through the night before. We still had a fun afternoon in the pool. If you are not there in the height of summer and want to swim, you might want to consider paying to heat the pool- but remember that you need to do that in advance. We would highly recommend this rental home and hope to return.

We came in to San Antonio for our son's Air Force Tech School graduation, Elizabeth’s place exceeded all of our expectations. The rooms were spotlessly clean and incredibly spacious—plenty of room to relax and unwind after each day’s events. The original wood floors gave it a warm, classic feel that added to the overall charm. The location was fantastic—just minutes from the River Walk, which made it easy to explore San Antonio without the hassle of long drives or parking downtown. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe, and the host was friendly, responsive, and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area—especially for special occasions like ours. It truly helped make a meaningful week even more memorable.

This will be our second summer at the Casita and it definitely won’t be our last. It has everything you could possibly imagine and even things you probably didn’t think of. It truly is a little slice of heaven. I loved the abundance of wildlife that greets you in the morning while you’re having coffee, and the convenience of the gorgeous river access minutes away. The kitchen is so well stocked that making a fantastic dinner was like being in my kitchen at home. Tom is such a wonderful host, very communicative and detail oriented that the check in and check out process is a breeze. We truly have come to love this Casita!! I hope you’ll enjoy this place as much as we have and it becomes a part of your annual summer vacation like it has ours.

We stayed at this house while we were in town for my daughter’s graduation from BMT at Lackland JAFB. This house was in the perfect location. It was decorated beautifully, the beds were incredibly comfortable, quality sheets and towels, comfortable furniture. Everything was in perfect condition and working order. They have paid attention to every detail. They even had stadium seats for our use at the graduation. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cook a great meal. They have a nice gas grill in the back yard that was perfect for the steaks my airman was craving. Overall this was the nicest Air BNB I’ve ever stayed at. The hosts were easy to communicate with. I can’t recommend this house enough.

Beautiful peaceful place to stay, loved the jacuzzi tub and the bed was very comfortable. The fire pit was a perfect touch for the clear nights to see the full moon and the stars. We loved our stay!! We will definitely be back.

This was a great lstay in the heart of San Antonio. it was so easy to get anywhere we needed to from here. The house was super clean on the inside and Jason was very responsive, giving me a call when I needed some help and offering some instructions for how to use the pool.
