Gerard is super friendly and very helpful at all times. Everything was like subscribed. The location got a very beautiful view. Most attractions are nearby also.

The property is way better and scenic than seen in photos. Our stay was brief but fulfilling. Nice place with necessary amenities. Sujeewa is outstanding— helped us in many ways including delivering us dinner in late night. Don’t miss the sunrise!!

Such a beautiful house, old style which is my preference. Lovely yard and garden. Two bathtubs! A two mile downhill walk to town which I love and frequent buses and tuk tuks if needed. The host’Joy, is an absolute joy to be around, always concerned for my well being, telling stories. A wonderful stay, more than I could have hoped for.

I can only recommend this accommodation to everyone. From the facilities and service to the location, everything exceeded our expectations. In addition, Gampola is an authentic place where you can get to know Sri Lanka at its best in an oasis of tranquillity in the midst of different religions. Centrally located, Gampola offers a good starting point to discover the surrounding area, all the way to Kandy.

I spent 3 nights at the White Square Homestay and can highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean place in a beautiful house not far away from town (accessible by bus). The family is extremely friendly and they will do everything they can to make you feel comfortable. They cook the best food that I have tried in my 7 months in Sri Lanka ! On top of the delicious food, I really enjoyed the balcony from which you can see peacocks, mangoose and grizzled giant squirrels ! I will definitely stay with Chandana's family again :)

This place was the highlight of our trip in Sri Lanka. From the second you arrive its like staying with family. the beds are comfortable the rooms spacious, air con and hot water. The very low room rate made us think there would be something wrong. Quite the opposite, Bhagya should simply be charging more. The dinner the family cooked for us was incredible and to see the safari/yala at the North end of the park, away from the crowds was the best experience we could have hoped for. there's only 15 safari 4x4s in the north opposed to 300 vehicles in the south. Raise your prices Bhagya this is the best product in Sri Lanka

Amazing place! A running tea plantation from the 1900s, located 1hr away from Kandy. Great base to explore the tea region.

Big and delicious breakfast! The room was clean and with a beautiful view of the mountains. The owner suggested us places to visit and organized a tuk tuk to the tea factory, little Adams Peak and to the waterfall. The only thing that could be improved is the Wi-Fi connection inside the rooms.

The most beautiful place with a view towards Ella rock and little Adam’s peak. Melani will always help you with whatever you need. She is a good cook and will always make sure that everything is fine.

I can really recommend staying here. Danushka and colleagues went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and worthwhile. I was sick when I arrived and the staff helped me a lot with that, they even went into town to get me the things I needed to get better and they helped me to see a doctor. It was a very comfortable bed and a quiet place to stay. it was very clean and the food was yummy. Thank-you!

If you’re looking for an adventurous and unique place to stay, this is the one! The location is beautiful in a really peaceful spot, right next to a stunning waterfall and not far from town. Communication was excellent and the hosts were so kind and welcoming! The in-house food wasn’t the best but it’s easy to get into town if you’re looking for something less basic. Overall we loved our stay here and would definitely recommend.

The view from this place is absolutely spectacular, even at night when you can see the illuminated Buddhist temple opposite the balcony. The house is well-equipped with everything you need. The personnel is extremely helpful and will help you with everything from breakfast to dinner and laundry service as well as sightseeing advice.
