Castle vacation rentals in Baltic Sea

We had a delightful stay in the Inga Suite (room 12), which is on the top-most floor in the tower at Broholm Slot. It has its own living room and it’s own private bathroom (no window in the bathroom) with claw-foot tub. What a beautiful castle set in the serenest of surroundings. We enjoyed the tea and pastry at check-in served by Maya who was a lovely host for tea and dinner. It was nice to have gluten-free options for the meals. Our dinner at the restaurant was exceptional! One of the best meals we’ve had; fish and chicken dishes paired well with the wines they selected. Breakfast buffet was also fantastic: soft-boiled eggs, toast, croissants, coffee, teas, cereal, fruits, honey, jams, sausages, what more could one want? It wasn’t busy during our stay, so it was really nice to feel like we had it almost to ourselves. We took out the row-boat which was a great activity and explored the various living rooms in the castle, the hidden staircase that leads to one of the bedrooms, and the doll floor (creepily fun!). We played pool and visited the on-site museum. All the staff were friendly and nice. The bed was super comfortable and we had a deep sleep. For a one night stay (straight off the plane and drive from Copenhagen airport), it was an exceptional experience! Would love to return some day!

What an amazing experience we had in Broholm Slot!! The place is unique and the staff are amazing! The restaurant is impeccable as well. Keneth is an awesome host and he makes you feel ultra comfortable. We totally recommend this place to both families and couples!

We decided to spoil our family of four by staying at this very special place for a night. It didn’t disappoint. Kenneth greeted us warmly when we arrived and offered all sorts recommendations to enjoy our stay as well as filling us in on some of the rich history of the castle and the surrounding area. We were encouraged to freely explore the castle, museum and grounds which felt like such a treat since aside from a few other people, we pretty much had the place to ourselves. The restaurant was truly excellent and made our stay all the more special. Despite being a high end restaurant, they were very accommodating with our children offering them special items from the menu (though our kids tasted and enjoyed everything we adults ate as well!) It’s also a short drive from Lundeborg harbour and beach, a beautiful and family friendly spot to spend the day. We topped off our stay with a tour around the castle moat in a row boat!

Our stay at Broholm Slot was lovely! The room was as pictured, and large and comfortable. The two shared bathrooms were helpful. It's a unique place to stay, with some walking trails to explore and some nice things nearby, like a local winery and distillery. The staff were all really helpful, and allowed us to store our wedding cake in their fridge. We would stay again if in the area!

An amazing location, hosted by wonderful people. I cannot recommend this location enough.

A really cool experience, a true journey back in time, it is everything you would expect from a castle stay.

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Lage zwischen der Insel Rügen und dem Darß super. Die Wohnung ist großzügig, hell, ruhig, sauber! Alles tippitoppi;-)

Eine schöne Unterkunft mit allen Annehmlichkeiten für einen Kurzaufenthalt. Wir haben uns in dem Apartment des Schlosses sehr wohl gefühlt. Konnten die Ruhe genießen und waren gleichzeitig schnell am Strand und im quirligen Stralsund. Die freundliche Gastgeberin war jederzeit erreichbar und hatte unseren Check-in einfach organisiert. Vielen Dank für alles.

Wir haben drei Tage im Herrenhaus Viecheln verbringen dürfen und haben unser Ziel, Abstand zur Großstadt und die damit verbundene Auszeit zu genießen, vollends erreicht. Sei es das Zimmer, der angeschlossene Park oder einer der wunderschönen Räume im Erdgeschoss, jeder einzelne Bereich lädt zum Verweilen und Träumen ein. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Wir hatten eine schöne Auszeit zum Jahreswechsel und konnten somit den lauten Silvesterknallern der Stadt entfliehen.

Das Schloss ist etwa 15 min mit dem Auto von Stralsund entfernt. Man hat da wirklich seine Ruhe. Es sind mehrere Appartements, aber von den anderen hat man nichts mitbekommen. Ansonsten war die Wohnung in einem super Zustand und man hatte fast alles, was man brauchte. Nur eine normale Kaffeemaschine wäre noch schön gewesen

Ever think about staying in a castle? Here's your chance! We absolutely loved staying in the family manor. Nerijus and his wife Inga are amazing hosts. Very easy to communicate with, delicious instagram worthy breakfasts, and their kids were absolutely adorable. My children loved playing with them! They have a giant trampoline outside. My kids could spend the whole morning jumping and exploring the front yard. Their kids shared their playroom and toys. They were so sweet! The home decor is straight out of a magazine. The art, couches, tables, everything is perfect. I'm impressed at how they're managed to keep everything so clean and free from kids damaging tendencies. Saying that, this might not be the right Airbnb for you if you tend to wreck a home and make it your own during a stay. Be mindful that you are sharing their home, so be respectful of their property and shared quarters. The third floor had a massive bathtub jacuzzi that our family shared. We loved looking out the windows for sunrise. Thank you for an incredible stay. We highly recommend this place!

Im Herrenhaus in Viecheln gestalten die Gastgeber alles so liebevoll, dass man sich rundum wohlfühlen kann. Die Renovierung und Einrichtung des historischen Gebäudes ist bis ins Detail mit viel Herzblut vorgenommen, ebenso der Park mit Teich und die Gestaltung des Gartens. Die Eigentümer haben einen Traumort für Romantiker, Ruhe Liebende und Genießerinnen geschaffen. Gedämpfte klassische Musik, blumige Düfte, Blütenschmuck und Farben sprechen alle Sinne an. Das Ambiente in der Gutshausküche macht Lust zum Brutzeln. Der helle, warme Wintergarten lädt zum Verweilen ein. Von mir bekommen gute Freundinnen / Freunde eine herzliche Empfehlung für das Herrenhaus Viecheln.

Etwas Besonderes, siehe Bilder [die, es stimmt mal wieder, sogar von der Realität übertroffen werden]. Absolut wohlfühlig im Sinne von Menschen, Lage, Räume & den Dingen drumherum. Lockerste Kommunikation. Ein durch und durch gelungenes Projekt, mit offensichtlichem Feingefühl - ohne unechten Kitsch oder die übliche Seelenlosigkeit von Hotels & Ferienwohnungen. Wir hatten eine prima Zeit.

Wir haben eine überaus abwechslungsreiche Woche in der Umgebung von Zarchlin verlebt und hatten neben der wunderschönen Unterkunft einen direkten und anregenden Austausch mit Marianne und Daniel, die für all unsere Fragen zur Verfügung standen. Der kleine Kiosk im Haus und das grosse Gemüsebeet hat uns als Fahrradtouristen die Selbstversorgung erleichtert und bereichert. Die Beschreibung des mit Sorgfalt und Leidenschaft renovierten Gutshofes stimmt bestens mit der Realität überein, die wir angetroffen haben.

Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und wurden einmal durchs Haus geführt. Das Anwesen ist wunderschön und jedes Zimmer mit viel Liebe zum Detail renoviert und eingerichtet. Unsere Wohnung war sehr schön, Genau wie auf den Bildern. Wir haben super in dem Bett geschlafen und uns einfach wohl gefühlt. Die Sauna die wir für beide Abende dazugebucht und haben wir in vollen Zügen genossen. Das ebenfalls dazugebuchte Frühstück war auch sehr sehr nett. Alles in allem ein rundherum gelungener Urlaub mit Wiederholungspotenzial.

Ich kann diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen. Selbst hatte ich ein Zimmer, im unteren Bereich des Herrenhauses, mit Gemeinschaftsbad (Frauen und Männer getrennt) und Gemeinschaftsküche. Alles sehr sauber. Frühstück wurde mit Liebe zubereitet, Assistentin Uschi war einer der nettesten und liebenswertesten Menschen, welcher mir seit langem begegnet ist. Die herrschaftlichen Räume und der Garten laden zum Verweilen ein.
