A forest experience out of the ordinary in the middle of Halland with proximity to both sea and lake. In addition to the occasional sheep, it is all by itself in a small forest grove. From the sauna there is a beautiful view of the den. Breakfast with local produce is picked up down at the farm. Our wooden cottage has been designed to be modern and functional. We tried to blend in perfectly with the surroundings and not to disturb the nature that surrounds us from all sides. Our small village has not succumbed to time, everything works here as before. There is no shop, no restaurant, no tourists, only silence and nature. The village is surrounded by meadows and the Puszcza Piska forest, 10 km to the nearest towns. Cranes and countless water birds invite you to a daily spectacle. Here you will find peace

The summer barn at Hovelsrud, Helgøya

The old summer barn of Hovelsrud Gård is idyllically located between Mjøsa and a rolling grain field – a simple and unique place for those who want to get close to nature and enjoy the tranquility of Helgøya. The house is best suited for a couple or a small family with up to two children. Inside there is a bedroom and an open living room. Outside there is a kitchen counter, with a gas burner and barbecue, a small beach with swimming opportunities and an outdoor toilet. There is no electricity.
