House vacation rentals in Ballina

The townhouse is in a perfect area of Belmullet. It is very close to a grocery store, pharmacy, church, pubs and restaurants. There are plenty of on street parking spaces nearby. We usually parked right outside of front door. The property was maintained very well. Martina always responded within minutes to our questions. As we were packing our car, we met James who was very friendly and helpful. we will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Belmullet.

Our stay at River Cottage felt less like checking into an Airbnb and more like stepping into Anna and Luke’s thoughtfully curated retreat. Nestled beside a usually gentle stream, the cottage offered a rare kind of quiet. We found ourselves unwinding in ways we hadn’t expected. As if the place itself were helping us silence the usual rush of thoughts. The sauna and cold plunge, discreetly positioned at the water’s edge, added a touch of simple luxury. They blended seamlessly into the natural surroundings rather than standing out as flashy extras, even when lit up at night. We explored the surrounding area by car and found Sligo to be the perfect complement to the cottage’s peaceful seclusion. My wife and I already feel drawn back to this little slice of Ireland - eager for another chance to recharge in the calm that Anna and Luke have created. We’re also looking forward to seeing their next ideas come to life.

Very comfortable house in a quiet but convenient & accessible location. Billy & Orlaigh made us very welcome & went out of their way to ensure our stay was exceptional. The house is spacious & the beds comfortable. It would be a pleasure to return here.

We really enjoyed our stay at David's Holiday Home on the Kilronan Castle Estate. The location proved convenient for day trips to Co. Donegal, Co. Galway, and especially Co. Sligo (which was one of our favorites!). The unit had everything we needed for our family of 4 (including 2 teens) to spread out and enjoy, prepare meals, and even do laundry (we stayed there during the middle of a multi-week trip to UK & Ireland.) Everything was as described in the place- and, importantly, the beds were comfortable. My family enjoyed exploring the castle grounds, while I (Sean's wife) splurged for a wonderful massage and Thermal Suite at the Spa. Hubby & I also enjoyed a Guinness in the castle Dungeon Bar a couple of nights during our stay. Check-in & other instructions were clear and easy to follow. David was prompt in following up with any questions we had. We would happily stay again and/ or recommend to others.

We received a very warm welcoming upon arrival. Both are excellent hosts. The cottage is as described and well equipped. We did not miss a single thing. Happy to recommend the 'hare cottage'. You feel at home the moment you walk in.

Lovely house with plenty of space and in a beautiful setting. Tao and Gerrad gave great instructions and helpful information and were really responsive. Highly recommend this lovely house for a family break. Our teenage children loved having a living room area to themselves.

Angela’s house is a quiet private house that is spotless clean and lovely and cosy. The house is well equipped with WiFi, 2tvs, multiple types of heating, electric walk in shower etc. Clear instructions for everything were left for us and also info regarding local restaurants etc. Although we did not need meet Angela I can say she is very friendly and was just a message away at any stage if we needed anything, I would very highly recommend Thank you again

Helen is an amazing host. She went out of her way to prepare the home before check in time as we were travelling for a funeral. The home is very clean and has everything you need. The location is excellent. I would recommend this home to anyone wanting to stay in the local area. Thank you Helen

Our family absolutely loved staying in Finbarr’s place. The building was unique and full of history-which our history loving family appreciated. It sparked conversations about what we thought it was like when it was a granary, or the cattle shed, or the fisherman’s cottage. We felt in awe of the history we were sharing for such a brief time. We will definitely be back if ever we get ‘round to Foxford again!

We had a lovely stay. The house is huge, loads of space for our extended family group. We loved that there were 2 large bedrooms on the lower ground level. It meant the grandparents had a more private area for themselves. House is a short stroll to a local shop, coffee shop and pub which does great food! James was a great host and was quick to respond to queries. Would definitely book again!

An incredible place to stay with beautiful views and in a brilliant location - lots of different things within driving distance, and Steph was so helpful with recommendations! We had a really lovely time!

Amazing location (if you like solitude). Beaches right there! Wonderful megalithic sites nearby. Horses to pet. All amenities you could want. Had a blast cooking in the wonderful kitchen. Weather was AMAZING. We had some downtime at the beach and watched beautiful sunset which was recommended by our host! We HIGHLY recommend this place. We were sad to leave it.

I have been coming to Ireland every year since 2013.. this is one of the best places I have stayed.. quiet and peaceful.. close to the coast.. the space was fantastic.. well appointed... will be back.

Gorgeous property, very clean and even bigger in person than in pictures. The sauna is lovely however we weren’t able to use the hot tub as it wouldn’t heat even after a strong fire and a few hours and we weren’t able running out of wood.

Very private, quaint property in the countryside. Very clean and well kitted out. I loved that there was no TV. Excellent WiFi however, so all your streaming services will work on your devices. A group of 6 of us stayed at Paul’s house and we had a fantastic stay! The house was exactly as described- clean, stylish and extremely comfortable. The house had enough space for everyone and had everything we needed. The location was perfect. We walked down to the beach which is close to the house. Paul’s father greeted us on arrival and gave us knowledge of the area and things to do which we appreciated greatly. Communication with Paul was quick and easy. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

I do a lot of evaluation work and was surprised to see a 5.0 rating with that many customers....however, the ratings were right. First of all, Michael did an amazing job in renovating his family home. So beautiful and classy. Next, the "goodies" that she has stocked in her home are beyond what I've ever seen in my many Airbnb stays. Anne was responsive to any questions that I pose and gave me the ability to rest. If you are in the area or traveling through - make sure to reserve this home. You'll not want to leave! Thank you Anne and Michael for providing this haven on my recent visit to your area.

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Issie’s. The house was spacious, immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. The location was near the golf course, town and beach. Issie was responsive and helpful in suggesting places to eat and things to do. She left a welcome pack which was appreciated. I would love to return to this beautiful house.

I absolutely LOVED Rachel’s little stone cottage😍 We came with our dog and were immediately taken with the beautiful style and interior of the house as well as the highlight which is the garden! It’s incredibly pretty and I can really recommend to sit down there on a warm evening and just enjoy the flowers. Rachel was so accommodating and warm and we really enjoyed meeting her and couldn’t get enough of everything around us. From Westport shopping and dining to Achill Islands and everything inbetween: Mayo and specifically this little Cottage are so worth the visit! we and our dog queenie will be back 🐾
