In our Homestay studios, you can recharge and unwind in a warm and relaxing atmosphere in the spacious, luxurious studios (see also De Gierzwaluw). The Grutto is equipped with box spring, seating, workspace, kitchenette and private bathroom. In the sunny garden, there are patios and a covered bicycle shed. Located in a rural village, surrounded by beautiful forests and lakes, you can enjoy the diverse natural surroundings, as well as the lively town center with shops and restaurants within walking distance.

For infants: the garden is completely fenced off, with safety locks on the gates. There is a baby cot and a highchair for your use.

Enjoy peace, nature and comfort in this bright and fully equipped holiday home in the beautiful Gaasterland region. Located on the edge of the village, surrounded by a peaceful rural landscape with forests and lakes, this is the perfect place for hiking and cycling enthusiasts. The property features a indoor bicycle store and EV charging point. To ensure a relaxing stay for everyone, the property is intended for peaceful holidays. Parties are not permitted, and quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM.

Atmospheric and spacious farmhouse Friesland

Our beautifully rebuilt farmhouse is located in Sondel, the first village behind Lemmer, even before Balk in the Gaasterland, Southwest Friesland. A lovely place for a family weekend or a weekend with friends. There is a spacious well-equipped kitchen to cook with each other, a large dining table, spacious garden, an outdoor BBQ (gas). The Gaasterland is known for its forests and lakes for walking, cycling, sailing and horseback riding. There are also several golf courses in the vicinity.

Our foresthouse Bambi is built in 2024, and located in the middle of the forests of Gaasterland, close to Oudemirdum. A nice house for a beautiful stay in a natural environment with friends or family! The house is fully furnished with a spacious living room with open kitchen, wood stove and patio doors to a large terrace. There are three bedrooms, a bathroom with rain shower, separate toilet and fully equipped kitchen. There is also a washing-drying machine and wood-burning stove.

Sleeping with the sheep & a whole herd of horses.

Waking up with a view of the dining room, a herd of horses living in freedom, 2 pigs making their beds in front of the window every evening, and sometimes a sheep walking by... Closer to the pure things in life. Therefore, there is no Wi-Fi and no TV. There is, however, a large table for playing games together and a lovely sofa for drinking a glass of wine together. Make beautiful memories together! And extra fun: the first lambs are born at the beginning of October!

Inside, a bright living room with a fireplace. Outside, a spacious, private garden and a shared natural swimming pool on the park. Three bikes are ready to go. Ideal for families and nature lovers who want peace and quiet without ever getting bored. And yes, your dog is very welcome too.

Casa Sloten, beautiful house on Elfstedenroute

Relax completely in this unique and charming accommodation. The picturesque city (!) Sloten has only 700 inhabitants, but the town is still a party to visit because of its fantastic and cozy monumental buildings and restaurants, the small but intriguing museum and beautiful hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. As one of the Frisian Eleven Cities, Sloten is also an ideal base for water sports enthusiasts and (in winter) skating trips on the Slotermeer.

Fully furnished and equipped with every comfort, including a new kitchen with refrigerator, including freezer compartment, oven and 2-burner induction hob. Spacious wet cell with toilet, shower and sink. A spacious sitting area to relax after a nice day out. In fine weather, you can enjoy a nice spot on the waterfront.

De Luts, a charming cottage located on the edge of the woods.

Located on the edge of the forest, a charming small semi-detached house on its own property. Also suitable for longer stays (registration not possible). It is quite and rural here. The well-known town of Balk, with its shops and small harbor, is just 2 km (1.2 miles) away. You can hike and bike beautifully here. Pets and/or children are not allowed. Maximum two people, who can sleep separately if necessary (sofa bed).

Do you want the luxury of a hotel room, but the space of a vacation home? Then our guesthouse is just right for you. This 1750 national monument with a spacious garden and private berth is located on the water in Woudsend. A cozy water sports village between the Heegermeer and the Slotermeer. A house that is equipped with all comforts. In the garden, it is wonderful to sit under the umbrella with a view of the boats sailing by. Enjoy the evening with a drink by the magma garden fireplace. In the barn is an infrared sauna.
