The Archeological Museum is within 100 m and the Fortezza Castle is easily accessible. The Venetian harbor and the city beachfront are both two minutes away.

Agia Pelagia area has good quality taverns in normal prices and is also good choice if you have a car cause it is in the heart of Crete and can make 1 day trips everywhere. and nice views and balconies to both sides.
