This was our second stay here as the cabin suites the needs of our group so well. Located right on the red run near the lift. Ronny was always helpful and responsive to any queries we had.

Endroit exceptionnel ! Seuls au bout du monde au dessus du fjord... Une des plus belles vues de notre séjour. Une jolie cabane construite par notre hôte. Très bien équipée et très joliment décorée. Mention spéciale aux WC dans une petite cabane indépendante à la vue imprenable sur le fjord :) Les hôtes sont accueillants, gentils et disponibles ! Meilleur hébergement de notre voyage !

We loved our time at the cabin had a lovely relaxing time and the hottub was a highlight! We had no problems and the house was very well equipped especially for anyone staying longer. We loved the waffle machine too.

Eine tolle Unterkunft und eine großartige Gastgeberin. Die Gegend ist traumhaft und die Lage direkt an der Skipiste waren sehr angenehm. Ich kann mir gut vorstellen noch einmal wiederzukommen.

We had a fantastic stay at Oddvar’s beautiful cabin; it had everything we needed and we really appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and laundry room. The views from the hot tub and garden are incredible and very peaceful/private. The cabin was clean, tidy and felt very homely. We would certainly come back and would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the local area, or explore further afield from such a lovely base home. Oddvar is a great host, good communication, responsive and friendly. 10/10 🙌🏻 Thank you!

What an amazing location. The views from both inside and outside were stunning. The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed apart. It was very quiet but with easy access to the main road. Would happily recommend to anyone.

Although we only spent one night at the accommodation, we took a lovely walk to explore the beautiful surroundings. Sunniva welcomed us with a warm and cozy home — the fireplace was already crackling when we arrived, filled with freshly added firewood. She even showed us a newborn lamb, which was such a special experience. The place has a very charming and inviting atmosphere.

Loved my stay at this accommodation, beautiful surroundings and was so relaxing. House felt like such a home and we were provided so many great recommendations for what to do during our stay. The host was very helpful and friendly, and she would always reply within minutes to any queries we had.

Mountains on three sides and a fjord on the other. If you're looking for solitude at the end of the world, this is it. A piece of advice, it's a single lane road in with blind corners and hills, so be ready to stop on a dime for on coming traffic. Also, the local market will have essentially anything you'd need, but they have eccentric hours so I'd recommend bringing along a day's worth of food to be safe.

A beautiful cabin in the farm. Everything as described. The owners are super friendly and helpful. The surroundings are beautiful with lots of sheep 🐑. There is also a nice bakery nearby. Would definitely recommend 😊

Wir haben diese wunderbare Hütte zum zweiten Mal gebucht, da wir uns schon das erste Mal sehr wohlgefühlt haben. Dieses Haus ist einfach der Wahnsinn, es ist sehr viel mit Liebe selbstgemacht. Man erkennt sofort, dass dort viele fleißige Arbeitsstunden vergangen sind und immer wieder neue dazukommen. Zuletzt waren wir im August 2024 dort und es hat sich wieder einiges getan und verändert. In diesem wunderbaren Haus kann man richtig zur Ruhe kommen und den stressigen Alltag hinter sich lassen. Auch unser Hund konnte sich dort richtig erholen. Leider mussten wir aus gesundheitlichen Gründen unsere Reise in Norwegen abbrechen und Roy Egil und Maya haben sehr herzlichst darauf reagiert und uns auch Hilfe angeboten. Das wissen wir sehr zu schätzen. Wir konnten ohne Probleme die Länge des Aufenthalts in Absprache ändern. Das hat uns sehr geholfen unsere Rückreise zu planen. Wir würden immer wieder in dieses wunderbare und einzigartige Haus zurück kommen. Vielen lieben Dank für alles!!!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Jarand’s cabin! The location is incredible and the cabin had stunning views. We enjoyed going for a hike in the area and going for a cool down in the stream. The cabin had everything we needed, including things to make coffee and easy meals. We were a bit worried about finding it, but Jarand gave helpful directions. If you follow Google maps to the coordinates, you’ll find where you should park easily and then have a short but steep hike up a clearly marked path. It was wonderful to disconnect for a few days and we have already recommended Jarand’s place to a few friends!

Wir waren 3 Nächte in dieser Hütte. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. Sehr gut ausgestattet und sauber. Alles perfekt…wir kommen wieder.

We logeerden 4 nachten in deze accommodatie met ons gezin met 3 kinderen. We waren onmiddellijk enorm onder de indruk van het fantastisch uitzicht en het heel gezellige huis. De keuken is goed uitgerust, de bedden zijn prima, de woonkamer is heel gezellig. De eerste dag maakten we een mooie wandeling naar de tegenoverliggende berg en ontmoetten daar een kudde schapen. De dagen daarop regende het heel veel, maar we hadden voldoende boeken en gezelschapsspelletjes bij. Ook bij regenweer verveelt het uitzicht nooit. De instructies om bij het huis te geraken zijn heel duidelijk, alsook om gas en elektriciteit in te schakelen. Geen minpunten! Een enorme aanrader!

Nydelig sted. Hytten har alt du trenger. Flott utsikt, fredelig. Godt utgangspunkt for turer, ikke for lange kjøreturer unna.

Das Haus von Christoffer ist wunderbar, sehr gemütlich eingerichtet mit einem wunderbaren Blick auf den Fjord. Um in das Haus zu kommen, muss man eine enge Straße ein paar hundert Meter nach oben fahren und dann vom Parkplatz aus zu Fuß nochmal etwa 8 min steil nach oben laufen. Koffer sind hier unpraktisch bzw. lassen sich nicht bsch oben tragen. Das macht die Lage und den Blick dann aber eben auch so einzigartig. Alles war genauso wie beschrieben. Christoffer war immer sehr gut und schnell erreichbar. Ein super Gastgeber! Danke für eine tolle Woche hoch oben in den Bergen!

Gemütliche kleine Hütte. Wir haben spontan einen trockenen Schlafplatz gesucht, weil wir mit Motorrädern reisen. Kommunikation war sehr freundlich und einfach. Wir waren sehr zufrieden

Absolut perfekt. Wir haben uns so wohl gefühlt und wären ab liebsten noch 2 Wochen geblieben ! Das war die beste Unterkunft in der ich bisher war !

Geweldig! Een prachtige hut die van alle gemakken is voorzien. Een mooi uitzicht op het meer. Een zeer grote hut, waarbij aan alles is gedacht. Complimenten voor de communicatie. Dit verliep heel vlot en soepel. Bjarte en Marit bedankt!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans la maison. Nous qui aimons la tranquillité nous en avons eu ! C’ est vraiment très bien 😌 la maison est moderne, super propre et joliment décorée ! L accès à Stogndal est simple et rapide .
