Urban Oasis in West Taipei

We had a great 5 night stay at Andrew's apartment. The apartment itself is very stylish and nicely renovated. It is very large in size and we really enjoyed having so much natural light from the big open windows. The jacuzzi tub was also a highlight. If you're coming to Taipei for the first time, this neighborhood isn't very convenient though. There are no metro stops anywhere near the apartment and most of the major places to visit in Taipei are far away. Obviously this is not at any fault to Andrew. Also, compared to other Airbnb's we've stayed in that feel more like an apartment rental, this one is more like renting a few nights in a friends place where their stuff is everywhere and it isn't as setup for guests comfort in the way other Airbnbs are. But we really loved our time here and still highly recommend a stay if you have the chance.

Karina was very responsive and helpful. We checked-in late due to a delayed flight but she was still proactive in assisting us on our next steps to get to the accommodation. The place is very clean and neat. Just like in the photos. Lots of restos and cafes around and close to bus and train stations. Fantastic!

Franco is a very nice host, staying in Taipei so many times with Airbnb, this is the most suitable place for my Airbnb expectations!A few great places to recommend: Room facilities -Franco's house is on the first floor of a quiet residential area in Shilin, making it easy to check in even with large luggage. - Separate dressing room and separate wet and dry bathroom in the room, small courtyard space outside the room, cool and airy even in summer. - This time, I brought my cat and was able to move around the rented space stably. There was no animal smell in the space to make her wary. Host and pet - There are many of Franco's own collections in the house, and the plants are also very vibrant. -Franco is very nice, and when he heard that we were going to see the exhibition on a rainy day, he offered to drive us to the exhibition!Fortunately, with his help, we avoided the rainy day of traveling. -Franco's dog Tesla is the most obedient Shepherd I've ever seen, very stable and friendly, I haven't heard him bark for 2 days, and he even comes to strangers to say hello and be touched.
