A highlight is the spacious sauna in the house. The great sunny balcony and terrace with seating and lake views invite you to relax and unwind. Sports enthusiasts will also get their money's worth hiking, skiing or mountain biking.

The house on the outskirts invites you to a calm and relaxing holiday. Directly at the (100 m) house is the Ederseeradweg. The Waldecker Land offers many hiking and cycling trails. We are located between Eder, Diemel and Twistesee, they can be reached by car in 25 minutes. They invite you to sail, dive, water ski or just swim. There is also a lot to discover in the Kellerwald National Park. The towns of Willingen and Winterberg can be reached in about 35 minutes from here.

You are in a historic fire station right on the creek. You can sleep in the former hose tower in a 1.60 m wide box spring bed. This sleeping area is separated from the living room by free beams. You can book an additional bedroom. The photos are included. Among other things, there is a 1.80-meter-wide double bed. One floor down, on the first floor, is the bathroom with window, shower, natural stone sink and toilet. There is also a fully equipped kitchen.

Half-timbered house with loft bed

A small half-timbered house sleeps 4 - 5 people. On the first floor are the entrance area and the kitchen, upstairs the bathroom, the bedrooms and the living room. The bedroom has a double bed, 180 cm. In addition, there is a loft bed level for two people, 140 cm above the living room. In the living room, there is a sofa bed for 1 person. The ladder to the loft bed cannot be removed or locked. You should consider this if you want to travel with children.

Our 300 year old Holiday House is close to Edersee, National Park Kellerwald/Edersee, Bad Wildungen, Fritzlar, hiking and biking paths. You would love the littel "Birds Home" because it's so cosy. You'll love the giant bed in the sleeping room "Birds Nest", the birds paintings by painter Otto Sabjan, the relaxing kitchen and the large amount of recreational opportunities nearby. It's perfectly suited to couples, adventurers and families with kids :-)

Only 5 minutes drive from Lake Edersee and 10 minutes from Waldeck Castle, which offers a beautiful view over Lake Edersee as well as the national park.
