On 160 square meters and over 2 floors, there is space for 5 people. An open large modern kitchen is available to you during your stay. Throughout the house there are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The bathroom on the first floor is wheelchair accessible. In front of the house is a beautiful outdoor area with seating.

Our place is close to beautiful meadows and hills, ideal for relaxing, hiking, going offline.... You'll love our Lydi-Hütt' because of the location, because of the little something extra, and the surroundings of our beautiful Vogelsberg. My place is good for couples, solo travelers, families (with kids), and dogs. The renovated half-timbered house is located in the hamlet of Schmitten. A hamlet is a very small residential development with approx. 10 houses. Pure idyll.

The house is over 500 years old, was completely newly renovated in 1994 sustainably and with style-appropriate materials yet also modern. It is a closed courtyard surrounded by old stone walls and lots of plants, great for children and animals. In 2018, we lovingly renovated and modernized the guest house, an old half-timbered house on our farm. In the countryside and only 30 km from Frankfurt, this is the perfect opportunity to unwind and enjoy nature.
