In the middle of the forest, on a clearing, 3 km from the beautiful town of Gartow, lies our special retreat. If you are looking for peace and quiet in nature and value simplicity and goodness, this is the place. The old half-timbered building, a former stable, was renovated with high quality and sustainably with natural materials. Clay plaster on the walls and the wood-burning stove guarantee an excellent indoor climate, and the walk to the wood-fired sauna promises absolute relaxation!

Our cottage is located in the middle of the Wendland Rundling village of Guhreitzen-Clenze. Here we demolished the old "Kalthaus" and built a new vacation home in the same place. The special thing is that you can vacation directly in the historic Rundling. It is very tranquil, often you can have a nice "Klönschnack" with the Wendländer. Biking and walking are ideally possible around the place. The goats and ponies sometimes graze in the village square. A natural idyll!

The house is located on the edge of an active estate, surrounded by large oaks and a beautifully landscaped garden. The charming house offers sleeping space for 4 adults (1 double bed and 1 double sofa bed) and at least 1 child (1 youth bed, 1 travel bed, 1 changing table and a baby bay are available) and has a spacious living and dining area with fireplace and two bathrooms. Shopping facilities are easily accessible in Bad Bevensen about 6 km away.

The house is quietly located in a turning hammer and surrounded by old trees and therefore perfect for families with children. It's just a few minutes walk to Lake Tankum. On the lake, there is a swimming beach, pedal boats, stand up paddle boards, mini golf, soccer field, volleyball net, barbecue areas and various gastronomic offerings. The surrounding nature invites you to extensive walks, hikes and bike rides.

Are you looking for a special kind of forest experience? Enjoy a stay in our idyllic and fully equipped vacation home in the south of the Lüneburg Heath. Whether it's long walks or bike rides, coffee and cake on the terrace or a barbecue experience on the fire pit, it's up to you. The Waldhaus is located in the middle of a natural forest property, with many special highlights, such as the barbecue and saunaota.
