Day 1: Arrival and first impressions I took a taxi from downtown Hanoi to Beining, about 40 minutes by car, Phuong's homestay is located in a quiet area of Beining, close to the famous Đô Temple.Phuong gave me detailed directions in the message in advance, along with a map, so I found the place very smoothly. She greeted me at the door with a warm smile and prepared a cup of Beining's unique green tea, which smelled fresh and made me relax immediately. The homestay is a two-story traditional Vietnamese house with a small courtyard outside with a few eggshell flowers, and the house is mainly furnished with bamboo furniture, with some traditional Běn Nìng Dong Hồ paintings, which makes me feel the strong Vietnamese countryside atmosphere. The room is clean and tidy, and you can see the rice field in the distance from the window.I gave "Arrival Degree" 4 stars because Phuong's guidance was very clear, the arrival process was very smooth, the only minor downside is that the road near the B&B is narrow, and the taxi was a bit bumpy when it came in. Day 2: In-depth experience and interaction The next morning, Phuong prepared a traditional Běn Nìng breakfast for me, with steamed rice rolls (bánh cuốn) with fried onions and fish sauce, and some fresh herbs, which were refreshing and delicious. She chatted with me very enthusiastically, and although her English was limited, she communicated with me using a mobile phone translation software and taught me a few simple Vietnamese phrases, such as "cảm ơn" (thank you).Phuong suggested that I take a walk in the nearby Dou Temple, which is a famous Buddhist sanctuary in Beining, with ancient temple architecture and local people praying there, allowing me to feel the rich religious atmosphere. In the afternoon, I went to Lang Dong Ho in Beining based on her recommendation to visit the traditional woodblock printing process and bought a painting of Donghu with a rooster as a souvenir.Back at the homestay, Phuong and I shared the "Quan Họ" folk song tradition of Bac Ninh, and she even hummed a small section, her voice was so gentle and lively that it made me more fascinated by the local culture.I gave "Communication" 4 stars because Phuong was very attentive, although the language was not through, but her enthusiasm and patience made the communication very pleasant. The only small problem is that the Wi-Fi signal in the B&B occasionally disconnects, affecting my ability to check some travel information. Day 3: Quality and departure The next morning, I planned to go to Bac Ninh City, and Phuong knew I was going out early in the morning, so she prepared a takeaway breakfast for me, including a few bánh chưng and a small bottle of her homemade plum juice, which made me feel very considerate. The overall "quality" of the B&B was also very satisfying, the bed was comfortable, the mosquito net was very clean, the water pressure in the bathroom was stable, and the hot water supply was also sufficient. The only minor downside is that the room is slightly noisy, and you can hear the rooster crowing and motorcycle sounds of the neighbors in the morning, but this is also the characteristic of rural life, and Phuong also reminded me in advance, so I still gave 4 stars. Before I left, Phuong gave me a small hand-woven conical hat and took a photo with me. She said she hoped I could join the next time I came to Bac Ninh.
