We really enjoyed our stay! After a long day of traveling, we greatly appreciated the quiet and beautiful surroundings, especially the extremely comfortable beds! The only issue we encountered was that the previous guests had left the downstairs windows open, resulting in a lot of flies inside the house. Esther's team tried to remove as many flies as possible before our arrival, and they provided us with an electric fly swatter to handle the remaining ones. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Amsterdam or the Abcoude area!

Alles super. Tolle Unterkunft, tolle Gegend, tolle Lage - ideal mit Auto oder Fahrrad.

Wir haben als Familie einige Tage in Jaaps Haus verbracht. Wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Ausstattung ist prima, alles war sehr sauber und gemütlich. Der kleine Garten mit der Sitzecke hat uns auch sehr gefallen. Die Lage ist prima. Zu Fuß kann man das Zentrum von Bussum ganz einfach erreichen. Dort gibt es nette Cafés und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Nach Amsterdam sind es 28 Minuten mit dem Zug. Der Bahnhof ist ebenfalls fußläufig erreichbar. Es ist also sehr einfach nach Amsterdam zu kommen und wir waren mehrfach dort. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Vielen Dank Jaap für die tolle Gastfreundschaft!

Wir waren eine Studentengruppe mit 11 Leuten und es war perfekt! Wir hatten eine so tolle und schöne Zeit in dem Haus. Danke dafür! Wir kommen gerne wieder :)

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr schön! Direkt am Wasser gelegen bietet das Eckgrundstück mit der großzügigen Veranda viel Platz zum Entspannen und Schwimmen! Die Unterkunft ist toll ausgestattet und die liebevolle Begrüßung hat uns begeistert. Michel hat sich immer wieder bei uns erkundigt, ob uns alles gefällt und war gut erreichbar. Wir möchten unbedingt wiederkommen.

This sweet little house worked great for our family of six. Our four kids slept in the attic room and the parents in the bedroom with a king size bed. The climb to the attic bedroom is steep but as expected, good railings. The little jetty with the boat meant we got to do a little tour on the canal, a nice summer evening touch. Kitchen is large and accommodating also for all six of us. We really enjoyed the place!

I’m emotional about leaving this absolute treasure of a rental- wish we could stay forever. We booked Darley’s on the recommendation of well-traveled local friends who literally *moved* to Hilversum after staying here and told us it was the best Airbnb of all time. (These friends also know that I’m finicky about vacation rentals and generally prefer hotels.) I’m SO glad we listened to them. This is, without a doubt, the most beautiful, well-appointed, lavish, thoughtfully stocked, gorgeously furnished, comfortable Airbnb ever, and now I’m probably ruined for all others. It could have been half as incredible for twice the price - we’d still be delighted. I’ve never felt more at home while traveling. We had all the privacy, comfort, provisions, fresh flowers and fruit, random fun perks, great water pressure, immaculate cleanliness, inspiring corners, luxurious linens, and other copious supplies we didn’t know we needed. Thank you, Marielise, for the Airbnb experience of a lifetime. WOW.

Location can no be beat. Beautiful neighborhood. Canals and great restaurants all around. Nice little outdoor space too. Gerrit was extremely helpful with directions and alerting us of train strike. He was always very quick to respond to any questions. Thank you for a great stay!

Laurens place was fantastic. Very comfortable for 4 adult ladies. Loved the outside balcony. It was well equipped with everything we needed and nice fresh linens. One thing that is on the listing but I seemed to miss was the amount of stairs required to get to the unit. It is a 4th floor unit with no lift. The stairs are steep and narrow. Laurens was helpful with assisting our bags up to the unit. My mom is 74 and made it but it was a little difficult for her. Once you get into the unit it is well worth the climb. We were happy to have our watches on to track those flights and log the steps taken! We would all happily stay again in the future.

Dieser Ort ist zauberhaft! Wir haben die Tage in dem so hübsch eingerichteten Dachgeschoss und den Tieren im Garten rundum genossen. Unsere Tochter (knapp 2 Jahre alt) hat das Spielen im Garten und das Tiere streicheln so geliebt. Wir haben uns wie in Bullerbü gefühlt! Mirjam stand uns immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite, hat jeden Tag ein frisches, super leckeres Frühstück für uns vorbereitet und uns Fahrräder geliehen. :-) Ganz große Empfehlung!!

Great location close to the canals and public transits. Plenty of local spots to have Great meals and enjoy the sights and sounds of Amsterdam. Only downside of the apartment is if accessible is a concern, the stairs are quite steep.

We had such a wonderful time staying at Yvonne’s beautifully designed apartment. It was spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped inside and out. The peaceful setting made it an ideal home base for exploring the area’s rich nature, history, and culture. Yvonne and Rob were such kind and welcoming hosts — we truly appreciated their generosity and hospitality. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

We hebben zó genoten van ons verblijf! Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien en voelt heel luxe aan. De keuken is ruim en volledig uitgerust – we hebben er met veel plezier gekookt. Ook de douche en het hele huis zijn comfortabel en ruim opgezet. Het uitzicht op het groen was echt fantastisch. Je komt meteen tot rust. Elke ochtend en vaak in de avond maakten we een wandeling door het mooie bos met bijzondere vogels en herten. De host was ontzettend vriendelijk en gastvrij. Altijd in voor een praatje en we vonden het erg gezellig. Als we iets lekker vonden ruiken, kregen we spontaan iets te proeven, zo lief en attent! Kortom: dit is een absolute aanrader, of je nu een paar dagen of langer wilt verblijven. We komen hier graag nog eens terug.

we zijn 1 nacht bij Mariëtte geweest, en hebben het heel fijn gehad. Er was zelfs een babybedje voor onze kleine; top!

Wir haben zu zweit drei Nächte in der wunderschönen Unterkunft gewohnt. Das Zentrum von Zaandam ist fußläufig (20 Minuten) oder mit dem Fahrrad (5 Minuten) zu erreichen. Nach Amsterdam braucht man mit dem Bus einen knappe halbe Stunde. Yafit und Jerry sind sehr herzliche Menschen. Yafit hat uns am ersten Morgen ein leckeres Frühstück gemacht und zur Begrüßung standen kalte Getränke im Kühlschrank. Die Wohnung hat alles, was man benötigt. Alles war sauber und ordentlich. Wir haben es geliebt abends, nach einem langen Tag, ein Bier auf der Außenterrasse unter Lichterketten zu trinken. Unser persönliches Highlight der Wohnung ist die Badewanne, welche im Badezimmer durch eine Öffnung in der Wand zu erreichen war. Absolut gemütlich!!

In der gemütlichen Wohnung haben wir eine sehr schöne Woche verbracht. Der Kontakt mit Monice und Pascal war super freundlich und bereitgestellte Infos äußerst umfangreich, so dass wir u. a. schnell einen kostenfreien Parkplatz in der Nachbarschaft finden konnten. Der Bäcker gegenüber hatte leckere Brötchen und Alkmaarscentrum ist fussläufig schnell zu erreichen. Die Wohnung liegt genau an einer vielbefahrenen Kreuzung, aber irgendwie - und ich bin sehr hellhörig und lärmempfindlich - hat dieser nicht gestört, man konnte sehr gut schlafen. Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr gut weiterempfehlen.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in dieser Unterkunft direkt am Strand. Die Lage ist traumhaft und die Gegend bietet viele Möglichkeiten zur Erholung und zum Erkunden. Die Gastgeber waren ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit – ihre Tipps für Ausflüge und Aktivitäten waren sehr wertvoll. Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr luxuriös eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können diese Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen!

Charlotte ist eine zuvorkommende und hilfreiche Gastgeberin. Bei Fragen war sie für uns immer sehr gut erreichbar. Ihre Wohnung war prima geeignet für unseren Kurzaufenthalt und wir haben Utrecht via Mietrad bequem erkunden können. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und wir genossen auch die Aussicht von der Terrasse. Und auch wenn die Wendeltreppen trotz vorhandener Handläufe eine tägliche Herausforderung darstellten, würden wir auf jeden Fall zukünftig wieder bei ihr anfragen.

Perfekt gelegene Wohnung von der man abends einen traumhaften Sonnenuntergang genießen kann. Die Beachbars liegen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Zum Zentrum sind es ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Ein Pluspunkt ist der zur Wohnung gehörende und auf dem Grundstück liegende Parkplatz. Wir können das stilvoll eingerichtete Beachhouse auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Mel & Henri’s place! From the moment we arrived, they were so warm and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and full of charm—it truly felt like a home away from home. Every little detail was thoughtfully arranged, and their hospitality made all the difference. We would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Gospodarz wypełnił lodówkę niespodziewanym poczęstunkiem napojami oraz winem, co nas miło zaskoczyło. W mieszkaniu było dużo miejsca, było ogólnie ładnie. Troszkę zmarzłam w nocy, ale w gorące dni będzie super. Słychać było kroki mieszkających nad nami oraz jak ktoś używa wodę, ponieważ dom jest dawno wybudowany. Napewno bardzo ładny ogródek. Bardzo uprzejmy i pomocny Gospodarz.
