Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Azores

We were so amazed by this home. It is a very unique setting with a close up view of the twin islands. What stands out are the stunning ocean views from multiple rooms, walking paths along the ocean, unique layout of the rooms and well equipped kitchen. We felt right at home. Carla and Manuel, the property managers, were attentive and gracious, always going the extra mile for whatever we asked of them. Judith was a super Host, very responsive and helpful. Great restaurants nearby. Beautiful walk on the coast to Rocha, one of the best recommended by Manuel. We will definitely be back.

We loved our stay. Faja dos Cubres is one of the most beautiful and atmospheric locations on the island and to stay there, rather than just visiting for an hour or 2 is special. Also the restoration job the owners had done on on the property was very pleasing. And the owners were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

I have stayed at MANY airbnb’s over the years and Jorge’s property is in the top two of all (The other being in Mendocino, California). Jorge was an amazing host, the location was incredibly relaxing and beautiful, and the home was comfortable, well-stocked and clean. I would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend this property to anyone who will be traveling to Terciera.

Marta's place is a gem! Very clean, simple and functional. When the weather is nice, the garden is a real little paradise, as is the entire village. The sea view is breathtaking!

Tip top! Clear recommendation. :-) We spent 5 nights here and felt right at home. Very clean accommodation, a beautiful view from the terrace + jacuzzi overlooking the sea and super helpful and friendly hosts. The tranquility there is also indescribable. Here, however, you definitely need a rental car if you want to do other things, as you live far away from the big cities. That's exactly why it was perfect for us.

We would come back without second thought. Vitor's place was as described and we felt like home right away. Spacious, clean and nicely decorated kitchen (well equipped), living area and bedrooms. The place had all we needed for our 5 days stay. Host was very responsive, helpful and polite. Check in very smooth. We would recommend this place to our friends.

Luis was a fantastic host. He was very accommodating and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. He left a lot of information regarding activities and local restaurants. He deserves top marks as a host. The apartment is lovely. It has lots of space, great lighting and absolutely everything you will need for a great stay. The off road parking is a huge bonus. We had a lovely stay at this apartment and would return in a heartbeat.

A somewhat remote but really fantastically beautiful apartment with great views and a friendly host couple. Breakfast is delicious and is served in a very pretty room in the main house, on request there is an egg from the farm's own chickens every morning. We also made good friends with the host's little dog. We really had a great time at Pierre and Catherine's, thank you so much!

We really enjoyed staying at Isabel’s place. It was beautifully decorated and very spacious. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need for your stay. We enjoyed sitting outside and in the cozy living room. The location was ideal for our daily road trips on this beautiful island. Isabel was very quick to respond to any question we had. We could not have asked for a better place to stay!!

Our family's stay at Sunrise - Casa Sao Joao was absolutely perfect, and we highly recommend! The location is ideal for exploring Angra - steps away from restaurants, shopping, with a view to the harbor from the Juliet balconies! The apartment felt larger than pictured - very spacious for our five family members, updated decor and very clean. We loved eating breakfast on the large patio each morning and relaxing outside after a busy day exploring beautiful Terciera! Elsa was extremely helpful - meeting us at the apt when we arrived and answering any questions we had. We were also provided lots of detailed information on things to do and see prior to our arrival which we really appreciated. The apartment was a centrally located home base for our many explorations around the island, and we had a wonderful stay thanks to the very attentive and prepared owner and host! We would love to stay again!

We were able to enjoy the comfort and tranquility of the Vila Alegre during our stay in Capelas. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and has a lot of character. Its private garden is beautiful to stroll among the vegetation, trees, flowers and birds or to contemplate it from the small glass living room, our favorite room. The hospitality of our host, Antonio, was exceptional. Fresh flower bouquets were arranged in each room as well as a table in the kitchen of delicious chosen local products! La Vila Alegre fits perfectly into our vacation in the Azores as we had dreamed them: nature bath and authentic charm!

One of the most enjoyable experiences on Airbnb! The location is very good for those looking for a vacation in nature, the place is very quiet and has an incredible view of the sea. However, what stands out most is the decoration, especially the lighting, which is even better in person than in the photos! Check-in is very easy and quick. The space was very clean and tidy! We loved the stay ❤️

We’re so thankful to have Jose as our host. He loves Sao Miguel and helped us experience its beauty and uniqueness. He was very helpful in making suggestions tailored to our interests and desired experience. Jose helped with hiking trails, restaurants and whale watching companies. Lotus House was sensational! We were a family group ranging in ages from 17 months old to 67 years old , and the house and property were comfortable and suitable for all ages. We were thrilled to see papayas and bananas growing in the yard. The kitchen really is well equipped- we fell in love with the espresso machine. There are comfortable mattresses on all the beds and plenty of towels and bath supplies. The heated pool, hot tub, and grounds made being at home so much fun. Even when it was 56 degrees and raining we were in the pool, and it was still comfortable. The AL Acores management team was impressively responsive. We had a very minor plumbing issue which was fixed within hours. When we arrived there were diapers in the crib, which was very thoughtful, and when one of the kids needed to see a doctor, we got excellent advice and thoughtful followup check-ins. I've stayed in a lot of airbnbs, and this is definitely one of the best.

This is an incredible property. Every detail has been thought of. The views are insane and the house is decorated impeccably. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food at Magma, their onsight restaurant, was the best we had in Pico. The pool and yoga studio, just breath taking. We loved our entire stay here and will return. Like others have said, the driveway is steep. Grab an automatic or be proficient with your manual car. We had a 7 person manual van and managed fine but we are comfortable with manual drive. Highly recommend!!! We didn't want to leave.

Tradicampo is a beautiful place to stay with incredible hosts. I left feeling very relaxed and content. The local produce and recommendations were very generous and helpful! I would recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the Sao Miguel!

This home has got to be one of the most beautiful BNB's I've stayed at! Like all the other reviews, the pictures don't do it justice! The property is immaculately kept clean, the finish on the home shows impressive craftsmanship, and the views from the private pool is exactly what you need on vacation! It's very private and peaceful. I loved being able to just sit in any of the many benches and just soak it all in. So much care was taken to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we need. The host goes the extra mile in many ways, including providing a welcome kit with snacks and drinks! The host was extremely helpful and responsive and kind. I could go on forever about how wonderful this home and host is, but I recommend you find our for yourself! Don't hesitate - just book it!

The Hause is a beauty, traditional and with charm. Is located in a great position with an amazing view on the ocean. Four people can stay extremely comfortably since very spacious and furnished. Gustavo is a great host, very friendly and communicative, you’ll receive precise info and useful advices. It was a great experience for us.

Honestly a little homesick for this place now that we’re gone. Such a beautiful place, perfect for a relaxing stay- we traveled with our 3 and 1 year old, so no relating but a recharge all the same! 😊 Cows, sheep and chickens (whose eggs were available for our taking every morning!) made the Farm House feel like the real deal. The house was quite close to some of the islands western attractions and at most 1:15 hour drive to pretty much any area. We stayed for 9 nights and loved our time in Pilar!

Wow. Just...wow. A beautiful, home in an absolutely stunning setting. Everything felt new and clean with modern but inviting architecture. The view from the kitchen/living room/balcony is gorgeous and peaceful. The pool is lovely and just steps away. The place was immaculate and Cleide, who manages the property, is absolutely lovely and extremely helpful. The house is a few minutes walk or drive to natural pools, outdoor natural pools, and a small but very cute market for groceries. Every morning, Cleide left us a box of fresh pastries and cheese and meat for breakfast. We loved this property and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to take a deep breath and maybe do some dolphin and whale watching :)

Great location and a beautiful home. It did have more stairs than we anticipated but was not an issue as two bedrooms are on the entry floor and other three on a level down. Living, dining and kitchen are on the lower third level. The pool did need to be cleaned. The Polaris stopped working before it cleaned the pool but was not of consequence since the weather was still too cool really for swimming. Be aware the hot tub is an inflatable and you’d really only have space for two but it’s on a great deck with nice view to the ocean. There were no restaurants really in walking distance but they are a short drive away and there are many great ones down by the water with beautiful settings. It was very nice to have clothes detergent and dryer sheets in the laundry area. We really appreciated that.
