We had a great experience staying at this place. The space was clean and well-equipped with everything you might need. They even provided a sun umbrella and a blanket for the beach, which was a thoughtful touch. The balcony offered a nice view, and the apartment is located in a peaceful area with a charming local bar nearby. We arrived using public transport, and getting an Uber in the area was also fairly easy. The only thing to note is that there’s no proper kitchen space for cooking. So if you enjoy preparing your own meals, this might be something to consider before booking.

The stay at Casa do Mar was perfect in every way. The location of the house is very quiet, only a few minutes' walk from the beach, the bus station, the restaurants and the mercado. The house is very cozy, cozy and tastefully decorated. We found everything sparkling clean. In the pretty garden you can best linger and have your meals. We will be happy to come back and can recommend the house.

The place was absolutely wonderful — clean, comfortable, and full of charm. João went above and beyond to make sure we felt completely at home. Every detail was thought of, and his care truly made our stay perfect. Highly recommended!

Duarte was a communicative, responsive and helpful host - we really appreciated this as there's only so much you can research online. The location of Casa da Encosta is magical, the fact you can't park outside makes it all the more special with no immediate road noise. The small terraced garden which surrounds the house is totally charming, offering plenty of little places to separate yourself from others should you wish and read a book or enjoy the view. Fixtures and fittings are of a high standard and the renovation executed thoughtfully. The feeling of being inside a jewelled box comes to mind. Yet it feels like someone's home and you feel welcome in it. A thoroughly enjoyable stay in a remarkable region of Portugal. Thank you.
