Nishimura Residence is an old-fashioned Nara-machiya that has been standing on a piece of Nara-machi for more than 100 years. I was a “grandmother” for a long time when I was a child. In Nara Town, there is a pleasant despicable feeling that never changes. "I want to be filled with this pleasant contempt even for future generations." With that in mind, I took care of the empty Nishimura Residence. - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.

Please use our kitchen for simple cooking. The nearest stations are Oji Station on the JR Line and Goido Station on the Kintetsu Line. I'll come pick you up until 5pm. Please use the bus to return home. There is a bus stop nearby. If you are arriving by car, there is parking available on site. From Oji station: 15 minutes to Nara, 18 minutes to Osaka, 1 and a half hour to Kyoto, 1 and a half hour to Kobe, Mt. Koya and Yoshino are also not far away. Hotel business license number 71703003

HAT National Park, experience traditional house

The surroundings are full of nature, and if you are lucky, you can see animals such as wild deer, boars and squirrels. In addition to burning charcoal in the fireplace and enjoying the burning fire, you can enjoy the following as fireplace dishes. (We prepare 1 box of charcoal. Check-in time is from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Due to other work commitments, I can't accept check-ins after 5pm, but I will do my best to accommodate check-ins before 2pm. Check-in is not possible on dates listed in the house rules and Sundays. (Staying and check-out possible) This is a guest house that is a 100-year-old Japanese traditional house that I renovated myself. The old house is 300㎡ and the field is 300㎡. Recommended for couples, solo travelers, and families.

A newly renovated machiya town house with typical layout and a small garden, retaining the tradition of Naramachi - the old merchant town of Nara. Easy access via bus and train, supermarket, restaurants, convenience store, bakery, and a Japanese bath house just minutes away. This house belonged to a famous wood carver of "ittobori" - a traditional Nara technique of carving the wood. A projector and a record player will make your stay even more pleasant. Enjoy!

およそ築100年、大正時代の本格日本家屋のゲストハウスを一棟貸し切りして頂けます。 気兼ねなく、奈良に暮らすようにゆっくりお過ごし頂けます。 奈良公園のすぐ側、近鉄奈良駅まで徒歩約10分。 早朝や夕暮れの静かな時間の散策も容易です。 4名様まで同料金です。最大9名様までご宿泊頂けます。 格子の窓や茶室、縁側、中庭、大正時代に建てられた日本家屋は趣で魅力いっぱいです。 中庭に面した掘り炬燵のあるリビングでゆっくり団欒して下さい。 キッチンは、IHコンロ、電子レンジ、トースター、冷蔵庫、ポット、調理道具などが揃っています。 みんなで料理して、庭を見ながら掘りごたつでお鍋を囲むなど、楽しくお過ごし下さい！ トイレとシャワールームは二か所ずつございます。 ホテルのような設備はございませんが、懐かしい情緒とゆっくりお過ごし頂けると幸いです。 お部屋は寝室だけで合計6部屋ございます。 人数に合わせてご用意させて頂きます。 部屋割りなどにご希望がございましたらご連絡下さい。

Our guesthouse is located in the old town called Nara-machi. There used to be many traditional wooden townhouses known as Machiya. We restored Machiya while keeping the original structure in order to provide you with a traditional Japanese experience with local atmosphere.This house is for only private use and has only one floor with Japanese style room, shower room, washroom, sink and small garden.
