Places to stay in Avoca Beach

I’ve stayed at many airbnbs and this is one of my all-time favourites. The place is immaculate - luxury towels (including beach towels), linens, air con in all spaces, beautiful balcony. The decor is lovely. The location is amazing - a 3 minute walk out the back to Avoca Beach. We can’t wait to return. Thanks Amanda for being such a responsive host too.

Great weekend getaway! A great spot to spend a weekend out of Sydney, amongst the treetops. Lots of lovely little homely quirks. Great kitchen. Lovely balcony. Easy drive to Avoca or Copacabana beaches. Lovely to be able to bring our dog.

A beautiful house in a beautiful location with a fantastic host, well stocked with everything you’ll need. Lisa was very friendly and went out of her way to be helpful. Would highly recommend Possums Retreat.

We loved our stay at Amanda's guest suite. The place was nestled in natural rainforest, was immaculate, and had all of the amenities we needed - Amanda even provided a little welcome gift. The check-in and check-out processes were seamless and Amanda was very responsive. We loved the recommendations to local restaurants as well. All in all, we could not fault the experience, and would definitely stay again.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The layout was thoughtfully designed and we especially loved the rustic charm of the bed and bathroom which created such a warm, cozy atmosphere. The location was perfect, the beach accessible from the back gate of the property and although the weather was chilly, we still enjoyed a lovely picnic down there. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, making the check-in process smooth and welcoming. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful getaway!

This was a really great place to stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to book there again. It was spotlessly clean, well appointed and centrally located….highly recommend!

Honestly the photos don’t do it justice. It was such a good stay and we had a great time staying there. It was beyond comfortable and all the amenities they provided are what you need for a nice weekend. If we come back to stay at central coast we will definitely come back

Our stay in Maria’s studio was lovely. The place was super clean with convenient amenities. It had cute and cosy touches such as toys and books for our little toddler who stayed with us. To add, it was in a beautiful and quiet location just a short drive to Avoca beach and cafes. Maria was also responsive and friendly/easy to communicate with.

Really beautiful property and location. We loved this little nook of the central coast! We loved listening to the nature sounds throughout the day. Really kind host and very responsive and the cottage was extremely clean with comfy beds! We had a great stay doing a little bit of exploring but mainly having nice quality time at home with family. Thanks for having us!

We had a beautiful couples’ trip at Sam’s place. She was very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The spa was amazing and it was the perfect spot to relax in the evening. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was spacious and easy to cook in. Overall it was a great experience!

Beautiful house, lovely views of the water and river. Interior was coastal and homey- felt like I could have lived there but still had a clean and clutter free space. Would stay again for sure!

Really lovely place, and in such a great location. Very cool open plan shower, and the zen garden around the bed was a nice, unique touch. Thanks for the stay!

We stayed for the long weekend and really enjoyed our stay. The place was spacious, kitchen was well equipped and the check in was easy. we appreciated the kids room being equipped with toys and games and backyard games and activities for the garden as well. The only improvement we could suggest is winter doonas for the bedrooms or extra heating in the winter months as it got very cold overnight. The air conditioning unit located in the lounge / dining was good for warming up that space.

Olivera was a wonderful and responsive host and extremely accommodating. They offered us an early check in but as we were not able to get there early I asked if it were possible for a later check out, as they didn’t have guests coming that day they generously gave us as long as we wanted. We got to enjoy a lovely sleep in (much needed with a newborn baby). The place was so cosy, clean and had all the amenities we needed. The bed was so comfortable and in the morning opening up the window to the trees and birds is amazing. Would definitely return

Had a lovely relaxing stay at Maree and Tony’s place. Very responsive and helpful hosts. Would love to stay again.
