een vriendelijk en persoonlijk ontvangst. geen kluisje met een nummer, maar gewoon een persoonlijke overhandiging van de sleutel en uitleg van apparatuur. kwamen laat aan, maar de host had al wat brood, beleg en een fles water geregeld. heerlijk aankomen dus. vaatwasser en wasmachine inbegrepen, dus kon lekker hardlopen en de vuile kleding hup de wasmachine in gooien. host vroeg halverwege de vakantie nog hoe het ging en of we nog iets nodig hadden. locatie is geweldig en snorkelen voor de deur in de zee. het ontbrak aan niets.

Our stay at Kera Valley House was a great starting point for our holiday. As it lays in the mountains, with the closest urban hub at approximately 20 minutes by car, we were able to enjoy some real peace and quiet. As it is higher up, the temperatures are also very manageable and you get some great views at the breakfast table. The house had all the modern amenities one could wish for, including surprisingly high speed internet speeds (800Mbits/s). Our hosts were also truly amazing. Kind, very responsive and literally going the extra mile. We accidentally locked ourselves out and they rushed in to help us get back in. We also appreciated the welcome package, including wines, refreshments, fresh fruits, homemade baklava and so on. If we had to give a point of critique, I would mention that the access to the outside table from the kitchen, requires you to take the spiral stairs, but in the end that just added to the holiday charm :-). Conclusion: highly recommended for the price!

Wir hatten eine unbeschreiblich schöne Zeit in der Windmühle. Der Ausblick und der Garten sind umwerfend. Alles ist mit soviel Liebe zum Detail hergerichtet. Es fehlte uns an nichts. Im Ort kann man sehr gut essen. Man fühlt sich einfach wohl. Wir sind glücklich, dass wir dort sein durften. Wer das Besondere sucht, dem kann diese Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Amazing stay in your accommodation and the village of Avdou, couldn't recommend the house enough, very clean and lovely bedding and towels! Courtyard was lovely private space to sit and relax together with family. Lovely friendly village we were given lovely cake from one of the neighbours. We will defiantly back to stay! We absolutely loved the house. The house was so peaceful, beautiful garden, we also loved the character of the house. The house had absolutely everything you needed to have a great holiday. We loved the village, it was quiet and the locals were very welcoming. Eleni was a great host, always helpful and so friendly. Watching the sunset from the roof top was one of our highlights of the trip, just stunning. We will be back.
