Authentic house, good location and super sea view

Authentic Greenlandic semi-detached house, with loft upstairs. 25 m2 west-facing terrace with evening sun and lovely sea views for the Disco Bay icebergs and the mountains of Disko Island. Possibility of whale. The house is located high in quiet house neighborhood at the end of small closed road. Short walk to shopping in the city center (grocery store and 2 supermarket), restaurants, close to "Gul Vandrerute" to Isfjorden. The home is suitable for 3 people, but can be used by 4, (1 double bed, 1 sofa bed and 2 box spring mattresses in the loft).

Ilulissat Stay: Jomsborg. House with Isfjords view

This home is located in one of the absolute best locations in Ilulissat, where you can hear the sea just outside as well as the smell of the ice from Ilulissat Isfjord. It overlooks Ilulissat Isfjord, and from the house you can see boats sailing out onto the sea from the nearby harbor. If you're lucky, whales can see both the living room and the bedroom during the summer months. The home is centrally located in the city, but in a small area where there is no noise. It is easy to access winter swimming if you want to swim among icebergs.

Dette stilfulde overnatningssted er perfekt til familie- og grupperejser med 3 soveværelser og en kæmpe stue. Desuden er der 100 kvm terrasse til huset med udsigt over vandet. I sommermånederne er der god sandsynlighed for at se både pukkelhvaler og finhvaler fra terrassen. Boligen ligger centralt og dog meget roligt i Ilulissat. Taxa fra lufthavnen koster omkring 120 kroner.

Our cabin is located north of Ilulissat, 25 min. boat shuttle (included on the way out). Enjoy the silence and see icebergs and whales passing by this amazing location. The cabin is simple, but has kitchen and 6 beds (sleeping bags provided), plus a dry-toilet. You can fish, hike to nearby settlement, but best of all is to soak in the view and experience the peace at this location. There is no running water, but you get water by melting ice from the rocky beach.

The house is fully furnished. one unique and quiet space. Qeqertarsuaq and Disko Island are known for their unique geological formations. Possibility to be picked up at the harbor and it is free! :) (ps. there is no Taxi or Bus in the City )

This was such a cozy cabin with an incredible view of the icebergs in the bay. We hiked the Yellow Trail from the Ice Fjord Center back to the cabin just in time to see a beautiful sunset from our deck.

Accommodation in a wonderful location with fantastic views of the icebergs. Living room and bedroom are very tastefully decorated. Mike reserved us a taxi for airport pick up and gave very helpful recommendations.

Ilulissat Knud's Guesthouse

We stayed in Casper‘s and Hanne‘s place during our first visit to Ilulissat. You will stay in a clean and well equipped house. The location is absolutely phenomenal overlooking the disko bay. This is definitely the reason to book this place. Overall we had a lovely stay and would always come back.

A well-appointed bathroom features a compact pedestal sink and modern toilet. A round mirror reflects soft lighting above the sink, while a window allows natural light to enter. Shelves display neatly arranged items, and a radiator adds warmth to the space.

Amazing stay in Ilulissat - this property is perfectly located. It is closed to the city center, shops and also about 15 min walk from harbor from where majority of trips to Eqi or whale safari happens. Once we will be back in Ilulissat we’d definitely want to stay there again

Fantastic views, the house has everything one needs. When something broke down, it was fixed within an hour of us calling the contact number -- fantastic! My only qualm was the fact that you have to pay for WiFi per hour or per day, it is fairly expensive, and blocks hotspots, so you need to pay for each device.

A spacious terrace offers outdoor seating with green chairs surrounding a wooden table. A barbecue grill is visible in the corner. Icebergs float beautifully in the water beyond the railing, with clear blue skies creating a serene backdrop.
