Hideaway in Wamboin. 15 minutes to Queanbeyan or Bungendore, close to wineries. Comfortable, private and separate studio unit (donga) with queen bed, a kitchen and a bathroom. Tea's and Coffees available. Stargazing on clear nights, peace and quiet. This is a small space that is not suitable for long term rental. Note: after numerous suggestions as to temperature control, I have now installed reverse cycle air conditioning. Nearest shops are in Queanbeyan (15mins away)

Come and enjoy a country escape whilst still only being 15 minutes from Canberra. Our cosy cottage is located in the picturesque countryside, it is fully self contained with reverse cycle air conditioning and all necessary appliances. We are children and pet friendly and have a totally enclosed backyard and patio space for dogs. We run a small hobby farm of 15 chickens, 2 miniature goats, 2 horses and a very friendly dog. We are happy to arrange a meet and greet for guests.

This self-contained flat is in a lovely quiet location in Tuggeranong. It is fully furnished with a kitchen and all the things you need to have a relaxing stay. It is a well-designed property to take advantage of the seasons. It will be warm in winter if the curtains are kept open during the day and cools down lovely in summer if you open it up at dusk to let the fresh breeze in that arrives in Canberra then. This has without a doubt been one of my favourite places to stay. The vibe and decor of this house was just gorgeous; my kids loved the games, piano, and drum kit, and the furnishings were beautiful. Despite being a townhouse, this property has a luxe, spacious feel. The downstairs bathroom and sauna is stunning. Of the five days we stayed, I enjoyed the sauna for four of them - and my husband and I loved the bath and massive double shower. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in, and a massive surprise bonus was the huge Feist book collection - I re-read Prince of the Blood over my four sauna sessions. Everything about this property was comfortable, and quality. If we are ever back in Canberra I will be looking to book again for sure, as the house was actually the highlight of our holiday.

Millie and Massimo's apartment was in a prime location for our family trip to celebrate our son's birthday at Manuka Oval for the footy and they were very easy to communicate with. The apartment was easy to access, spotless, and had great amenities, space and streaming options. Icing on the cake was the array of dining options at our doorstep which meant we didn't need to cook (Public House, Antica Ricetta worth a visit, although all dining options looked appealing and busy)! To top it off, there is easy access to a games room where pool and ping pong kept the kids entertained every day! Coles is a stone's throw away and the icecream shop across the road was a hit with the little one. While the weather wasn't the best, we still managed a comfortable walk (we also have a 5yo) to Kingston Foreshore for brekky one day, and on the way home played in Talopea Park where there is a cute playground. We highly recommend Mille and Massimo's place!

Our two families and dog had a wonderful stay here. It was located perfectly to reach Corin Forest and easy drive to all of Canberras attractions and restaurants. The jacuzzi was a highlight and everything was clean and comfortable as described and seen in the pictures.

We found Dennis & Ella's place to be a great home away from home. It was ideal for us to stay with our adult children and their partners, with airport and shops not far away. It was very roomy, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The house offered everything we needed and more, with beautiful outlook and quiet surrounds. I would definitely book to stay here again if we return to Canberra in the future. A big thanks to our lovely hosts!
