The cabin is located by Tinnsjøen lake with parking right beside it. It is 6 kilometers from Mæl ferry rental in the direction of Atrå. It is 17 kilometres to Rjukan, 25 kilometres to Gaustatoppen mountain and beautiful mountain areas. Beautiful views, plenty of sun. There is no running water in the cabin, but water tap just outside. Free wood for the wood stove. When there's frost and freezing temperatures, there's no water in the tap outside. Water must be collected from the host. Rowing boat is available for free. Outboard motor 1-3 days NOK 400, -

Old house/seter house from 1850 in scenic surroundings

Cozy firehouse/bakery from 1850. The cabin has been converted into an annex/small cabin with one room with a double bed. Dining area inside. Outdoor kitchen with fridge and gas hob. BBQ. Bathroom in the next door building. Duvet and pillow are in the cabin. Bedding must be ordered additionally for 150 per person. There is only a short distance to the mountains, Tinnsjøen, bike rides, and hikes in the nearby area. During summertime you can swim and fish in the river just below. The tourist municipality offers varied experiences and activities for everyone.

A short distance to Snaufjellet, great hiking opportunities, fishing, swimming, and cross-country skiing, as well as mountain farm life at Håvardsrud and the cultural heritage of Rjukan, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Gaustablikk Skisenter is 50 km from the cabin. The cabin is well suited for families and guests who want tranquility, nature, views and great experiences all year round.

Lower your heart rate at the top of Stolpehytta! Stolpehytta is located 5 minutes away from Blaafarveværket in Modum municipality, right next to the climbing park Høyt & Lavt Modum. Here you can find tranquility among the treetops. The large windows provide a panoramic view over the landscape and the night sky. Built in solid wood, with an area of 27 m2, it gives just enough space for what you need for a relaxing trip away from everyday life. If you want activity, you can rent e-bikes, stroll down to the climbing park or explore the local area.

Free Mountain Bus takes you to Gausta/Gaustatoppen only 20 minutes away. The apartment is located in the middle of the city center but still withdrawn from the main street.

There is a short distance to Skirvedalen, where in winter there are miles of great ski slopes waiting for you. In summer there is a great swimming spot in the river nearby. There is also a short distance to Sandviken camping by Tinnsjøen which has a wide range of leisure activities. It is 30 km to Rjukan which is listed on UNESCO's World Heritage List. Here you can visit Vemork, Solspeilet, take the Krossobanen etc.

Enkel og liten, men sjarmerende tømmerhytte rett ved vannkanten. Ett rom, køyeseng, spisebord, kokeplate og kjøleskap. Bilvei frem til døren. Passer for 1-2 personer. Godt utgangspunkt for flotte dagsturer i nydelig natur! Det er dyner og puter i hytten, men dere må selv ta med laken, dynetrekk, putetrekk og håndklær. Tilgang til delt bad med do, vask og dusj. Hytten ryddes, oppvask settes tilbake på plass og søppel tømmes ved avreise.
