Such a great place to stay and close to the sights to see on the west side of the island. So much kitchen space and the amenities were excellent.

Uninterrupted sea views on NC500

Chandan KumarRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Can’t describe how beautiful the location is . The house is so beautiful and the view is breathtaking . We were welcomed by golden rays of sun and a rainbow . Sarah is the loveliest and warmest person I have ever met . She personally helped us know everything about the house. The kitchen is very well equipped. Kids room was so much fun with colourful lights , they had so much fun. Due to lack of time we couldn’t enjoy the hot tub and many more things like walking down the shore or the area. We just laid down and soaked in as much as we could. Overall this stay was amazing and definitely made our NC500 memorable.

Seal Cottage, South Ronaldsay, Orkney

ChristinaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We spent our vacation on the Orkney Islands in Seal Cottage and had a very pleasant stay. The apartment is clean, well equipped and lovingly and cozily furnished. We felt very comfortable right away. The quiet location right by the sea and the view of the water from the accommodation were also great. The Airbnb is a bit remote and you definitely need a car to head to the main attractions of the islands, but this was not a problem for us. Rather, we enjoyed being able to unwind and relax in the Seal Cottage in the evening after our day trips. Carole is a very friendly and helpful host. Due to the late arrival of our ferry, she allowed us a flexible and late check-in and helped us find the accommodation quickly by phone when we got lost. Clear recommendation, we will be happy to come back!

Orkney Retreats Kilnbarn Cottage STB5*

GrahamRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a wonderful week at Kilnbarn cottage. Jackie and Dave have created a very special and exceptionally comfortable and well equipped place on the stunning Sanday shoreline, which was beyond our expectations. The perfect place to stay and enjoy the natural beauty and wildlife, including an otter, that the beautiful island of Sanday has to offer. Our beardie Stormy loved the secure garden.

The Auld Kitchen

AlanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The Auld Kitchen was snug, comfortable, and characterful with everything we needed for our break. A great base for the island with easy access to Kirkwall. Sammy was friendly and welcoming, but didn't intrude and was there if we needed anything. We would recommend this property.

Modern house | Great location in Kirkwall

LizRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Everything about this house was perfect. It suited us (2 adults, 1 teen) and all our needs were met with ease. Spacious, comfortable, very clean, great parking, excellent amenities and we felt right ‘at home’. The location in Kirkwall was great and - it has to be said - at night it was silent...absolutely silent and we all slept so well here. We made use of the washing machine and had the clothes airer set up in living room which dried quite quickly with the wall heater going. The kitchen has everything you’d need to self-cater. Access (check in) was easy, as was check-out. The styling of this property wasn’t over the top either - we loved it. Nothing but high praise for Louise’s place on Old Scapa Road and we would happily stay here again. Orkney is incredible!
A serene beach scene features soft sand extending into calm waters. Gentle waves lap at the shore, while grassy vegetation borders the beach. Small islands are visible in the distance, with a clear sky overhead, providing a tranquil atmosphere.
