"Bakker" is a real gem! Dating back to the 1800's, the cabin is situated in quiet and private surroundings of forest and farmland one hour from Oslo and another small hour from the Swedish border. The standard is simple, but the cabin has electricity and (cold) water and is useable all year around with a refurbished chimney and fireplace. You can swim in the river that runs close to the cabin, visit the lake Mjermen just a 10 minute walk away, go for hikes and much more. Family friendly.

Ubegrensede turmuligheter med bla. den historiske Soot-kanalen i umiddelbar nærhet. Stedet Skjølåbråtan har store uteområder. Norsk Grenselosmuseum ligger på samme eiendom. Stedet er endepunkt for Flyktningeruta som starter på Skullerud i Oslo (ca 12 mil lang) På samme gård ligger et 2 etg. hus som også kan leies ut.

We loved our stay here! The apartment was easy to access, clean, and had everything we needed. It is close to the bus station which made getting to and from the airport very easy. Linn was quick to respond and very helpful, and gave clear instructions that made check-in smooth and easy.

Exceptional host with excellent accommodation. It’s cozy nice corner apartment where you can park the car just in front of the main entrance. Floor heating is available in addition to the wall heating unit. I would love to book again in future and highly recommended.

Storfamilien på 10 personer hadde tre netter i dette fantastisk flotte huset. Nydelig beliggenhet med flott turområde like utenfor. Både barn og barnebarn fant seg vel til rette i huset som hadde alt vi trengte til oppholdet vårt i Kongsvinger. Mari var en venlig og hjelpsom vert. Svarte raskt på meldinger om det var noe vi lurte på. Vi kommer gjerne igjen. Kan absolutt anbefales.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und können dieses Airbnb sehr empfehlen. Die Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel sind nach einem kurzen Spaziergang schnell erreicht und man ist schnell im Stadtzentrum. Gleichzeitig ist es in ruhiger Lage um sich nach einem langen Tag zu erholen. Genau was wir gesucht hatten. Wirklich schön!
