Peaceful cabin by the river Mjerma

There is a road all the way to the cabin (not far from the main road) and you may park at the end of that road or on the lawn outside the cabin. The cabin can be used all year, but in the cold months you will have to rely on firewood for heating (though we provide an electric heater) and the cabin will probably be cold when you arrive. It is not well insulated, so you must visit with a practical attitude. The tap water in the kitchen is ok to drink. Please note that it will be shut off in autumn /winter to avoid frost damage, but we provide cans with water. There is no bathroom or shower, but you can heat water for washing or bathe in the river. Toilet: Please note that the toilet is a very basic bucket /bio toilet, to be found in the shed just across the lawn. The shed has electric light.

Cabin for rent

Cozy cabin at the end of a dead-end road. Very good sun conditions. Enjoy the tranquility of the forest right outside the cabin wall. Great view of the forested hills. Suitable for anyone who would like a break from everyday life. Short distance to swimming and fishing water. Take a walk or bike ride on the many trails and forest paths in the area, or enjoy an evening swim at the swimming area located a few minutes' walk from the cabin. The cabin is located near the water with its own beach line. It is located in an idyllic place that can fit a romantic weekend getaway or a cozy weekend with the family. Here you can row a boat, fish and swim in beautiful surroundings and it is only 9 km to the nearest store. The cabin has a well-equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer and oven. The cabin has a private bathroom with toilet and shower as well as a bedroom with two beds. There is also the possibility of a sleeping space on the sofa. The cabin is about 1 hour drive from Oslo, parking space at the cabin.

Canoe and life jackets are available. Great hiking opportunities for mushroom and berry picking. Perch and pike fishing. Free wood for the fireplace and fire pan. Top recreation for those who love nature and outdoor life.

Large and great house in lovely natural area just a few meters from the water, own jetty, large outdoor area, and a porch with stunning views of the water. The house has everything needed for a nice stay both summer and winter. Modern and well equipped kitchen, and bathroom with a shower. Two living rooms with TV, games, books, three bedrooms and a large sofa bed. The house is well suited for quiet days, family cozy or cozy accommodation, and is only 15 minutes from shops, 1 hour from Oslo as well as Gardermoen airport, and Sweden.

In the summer we can boast a fantastic place for morning baths, canoeing and a grazing herd of horses outside the cabin. The cabin has an outhouse and there is no electricity and water in the cabin. It provides a unique opportunity to live a little simpler and connect to life, nature and the moments. In the winter season, you can light the fireplace, fish, ice swim, ski and skate or just enjoy the tranquility of the forest!

Forest idyll only 1 hour and 5 minutes from Oslo. (The cabin has summer water from May to October. You must bring your own water from Oct-May). Cabin office with 50 Mbps! A pleasant view over a pond. Firewood is 🔥available in the parking lot. Only 9 minutes by car you will come to a lovely swimming area. Here you can also fish trout, pike and perch. The place is enriched by a lot of different animals and birds. Only 10 minutes by car to Løken city center, where there are grocery stores and more. Pets are allowed.

There is a road all the way up, a short way to nice forest lakes with swimming and fishing opportunities. It is about 10 minutes to walk from the parking lot to the cabin through a field and forest.
