Pleasant and well-equipped gite. It felt good there. The sea a few steps away is a real plus. Tranquillity is total. During our stay the weather was very pleasant, so we took advantage of the good advice received during the welcome. It should be noted that the upstairs rooms are arranged in a row. However, there is a sofa bed on the ground floor. We are back in Maine and Loire, but already want to come back...

What's the best way to describe feeling like a princess in an Airbnb accommodation?🥰 Built in 1899, Villa La Sapinière is quietly located close to the beach. Anne had already sent us detailed information about the exact location of the apartment before our arrival. There was also a useful manual in the apartment. Upon entering the apartment, a very pleasant scent immediately entered our noses and the hand soap also smelled very good. For our dog, a towel was available under the stairs in the entrance area, which we greatly appreciated, as it had just rained heavily. Orange juice and water were waiting for us in the refrigerator. The apartment is a beautiful, bright studio with perfectly coordinated, very tasteful furnishings. Everything was immaculately clean and the bedroom with the carpet was incredibly cozy. We look forward to our next stay there. Thank you❤, Anne!

Sophie was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and responsive, making us feel at home the moment we arrived. Her hospitality set the tone for a warm and relaxing experience. The place itself was spotless. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making it both cozy and beautifully maintained. It felt like a home away from home, with all the little touches that make a big difference — from linens to a well-equipped kitchen and inviting decor. The location was perfect — quiet and peaceful, centrally located to the Normandy sites. We appreciated how easy it was to get around. A practical, well-equipped accommodation with sober decoration, ideally located on the port of Grandcamp, in a perfectly secure residence. Everything is within walking distance, restaurants, shops and the beach...

Pleasant quiet stay. Impeccable and spacious accommodation. The hosts are very available and attentive. The pool area is incredible, sheltered from the wind despite average temperatures. A kind of microclimate operates in this place. i recommend it.

Wonderful house for good times with friends/family. Lots of equipment available especially for children and older children. Dom is a great host, go there without a second thought.

We’ve visited the area many times staying in BnBs, hotels and hostels. We decided on Airbnb this time and Les Mouettes was just perfect. Caroline and Brice have a lovely place which they look after with pride. It’s very comfortable, spotlessly clean and has everything you need to feel at home. Caroline met us to show us round and as we left, Brice was mowing the grass. A short drive to the Super-U supermarket just outside Port-en-Bessin on the D514 with everything you need. Some nice restaurants in the port. A brilliant base to get to ALL the D-Day landing beaches, memorials and museums as well as Bayeux. If you’re coming from the UK by ferry to Ouistreham, the D514 takes you through the coastal towns and takes less than an hour, familiarises you with the towns along the route and, conveniently takes you all the way to the right-turn onto Rue d’ecole and Les Mouettes! …… and you can call, en route, at the Super-U (a left off the one roundabout outside Port-en-Bessin) to stock up!

We enjoyed a couple of nights at this lovely accommodation. Hosts very welcoming. Ideal location for visiting D Day beaches. Lovely breakfast each morning with homemade delicious cake. Secure parking and privacy appreciated. We thoroughly recommend this accommodation. Thanks again Chantal and Jean Charles.

Place was very clean very organized and very well centered around the Normandy World War II sites

I loved my stay in Granville. The accommodation in the old town was great. A cozy apartment in old stone. And beautiful sea views. Super quiet environment. Not a sound. And a great apartment. I felt at home quickly. Very comfortable. In conclusion, my weekend was particularly successful thanks to this place.

We had a great weekend at their beautiful accommodation. The setting is exemplary and the coast 1.2 km on foot, very convenient to leave the car. Dominique and his wife are very welcoming and very friendly!! We would highly recommend staying at their place. We will definitely return. Kind regards.

This has been one of the most amazing stays we’ve ever known. The location is perfect with many wonderful restaurants and coffee shops. The views from the windows are serene…we spent much time watching the tide changes, boats, birds and people/dogs enjoying the beach while the tide is out…fabulous!! We hope to return to Port-en-Bessin soon.
