2 Bed Apartment Avoca Village

RitaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Thank you for a very comfortable stay and a wonderfully welcoming apartment, lacking nothing. The situation is very peaceful with a local public house which was open when we arrived but the village shop was closed. The only place to have a meal was at a hotel a few miles down the road. This was not a problem - just to flag for future reference.

Three fluffy chicks are observed in a straw-filled enclosure. Two chicks exhibit a soft, light yellow plumage while one chick is slightly darker. The scene captures their playful interaction, with one chick perched atop another. Small feeding dishes are placed nearby, enhancing the cozy environment.

Fort William, Cullen's Cottage,  Wicklow

LucRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We had not even yet got out of our car and Ciara was already there welcoming us. You feel immediately at home. Table was set with fresh homemade scones, butter and jam. The cottage is decorated with much taste, providing luxury and comfort at the same time. The bedding is of the highest quality. We were lucky to have sunny weather. In the morning, when opening the curtains, you could enjoy the flowers in the garden and the view of the beautiful surroundings. It is absolutely quiet. There is also a pantry where you can find homemade cake, yoghourt, granola and many other delights. Ciara is a perfect host, genuinely nice and always open for a chat, we appreciated that very much. Simply read all other reviews, we agree with all of them. We have however only one regret, we should have booked a longer stay (we had only booked for two nights) and unfortunately could not extend it because other guests were already coming. Ciara and Eamonn created for you the perfect place to stay.

Recharge in peaceful countryside.

KrissyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Maryrose was pleasant to interact with and very helpful. She had kindly prepared some delicious scones and a loaf of brown bread for us and put out butter and jam as well. The mini fridge was stocked with water and other snacks, which we really appreciated. We had a very peaceful stay. I recommend it for short stays like ours (two nights) or if you'll be gone all day and just need somewhere to sleep since it's quite small. The garden is big and beautiful though. If it's sunny and warm you could sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. Unfortunately, for us it wasn't.

I think I have said it all with the review. Lovely, extremely clean, large house. A nice selection of food left for our arrival and breakfast. Easy parking and access to the house. Perfect for our travel from south to north. Thanks Liz and Edward.

Georgian country house set in heart of Wickow mtns

MeganRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a fantastic stay in Aughrim! The house was beautiful, very well thought out with lovely spacious rooms, wonderfully decorated and exactly what we needed for our stay. Henry and Joan were very friendly and accommodating, giving clear instructions and local recommendations. The welcome basket was a lovely added bonus, and the kitchen and house was well stocked with all the essentials.

Charming Hunting Lodge

SiobhanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I absolutely loved my stay at the lodge. It really is the most gorgeous place and is surrounded by woodland to one side and rolling hills to the other. I needed somewhere to escape to for a relaxing weekend away and this couldn’t have been more perfect - it’s so cosy, comfortable and the attention to detail is just wonderful - it felt like home (a very beautifully styled version of home) and I didn’t want to leave. The gardens are lovely too - lots of different spots to relax and enjoy the sunshine and the sound of the birds and the river. Ken was a lovely host - he organised some food and drink for me for when I arrived so that I didn’t have to worry about shopping. He shared recommendations of things to do and checked in with me during my stay to make sure all was ok. I really did feel thoroughly spoilt!
The exterior of a stone cottage is shown, featuring a glass conservatory that allows natural light to fill the space. A seating area with a chair is visible, surrounded by gravel and decorative planters. Lush greenery is present in the background.

Lovely space, perfect for a quiet stay, though not too far from the nearby towns. Junie was a very helpful host and had everything laid out perfectly for us upon arrival. Highly recommended.
