"The old meule" was built in 1877, which we turned into a cozy bed and breakfast. Completely in style, equipped with kitchen incl. oven, induction cooking plate, fridge and dishwasher, 3 bedrooms ( 1 equipped with sink and circulation of the mill), shower incl. rain shower, separate toilet, smart TV and WiFi available. At the back space to sit and barbecue. Also there is a private free parking space. A delicious full breakfast is included.

Creeks, polders, forests and meadows are all around here. The place for a hike or enjoyable bike ride. The Dutch border is nearby; Cadzand, Breskens and Sluis are on an arch of Bassevelde. Electric charging of a car is possible via a normal outlet at 40 cents/kWh.

In the middle of the fields, in peace and yet close to the sea with beautiful large sandy beaches (2.5 km). The house (about 200 m2) is suitable for large families (10 people). Optionally and if available, the adjacent guesthouse can be rented (2-4p). The house has all the comforts and is completely energy neutral.

From here, you can discover the natural landscape of "Het Meetjesland" on foot or by bike. Or, you can take public transportation to Ghent and Bruges. The sea is also very close! Welcome!
