Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Assateague Island

We love our stay here! The house had everything we needed and more. It was easy to find, and the views were amazing. We spent the whole time outside in the nature, and we loved how quiet it was. Kevin was easy to reach for any questions we had, and we appreciated his help. We would definitely come back here in the future.

The house and neighborhood were extremely nice and peaceful. The privacy fence in the back yard is wonderful for traveling with dogs. There were two huskies next door that liked to look down from the second floor and woo at you so keep that in mind if you have a reactive doggo. Not sure if they live there or just vacation. The house was nice and clean. You'll need to take your own linens. There were ants in the kitchen but mostly contained by the ant traps. There was a storm that tripped one of the electric controls for the kitchen. Danna was able to respond the next morning and let us know where the fuse box was to fix it. Only about 0.4 miles from a nice but busy coffee shop and store. Only a couple blocks from the beach. Easy to Uber down to the boardwalk or restaurants. Overall very nice place if you're looking for peace but close to activities.

Megan’s place was wonderful! Close to everything, but in a quiet neighborhood. Great deck for relaxing outside , bikes to use, games and books for rainy days. Highly recommend!

The Oasis was perfect for our needs . We will definitely book it again in the future!

This house is perfect for large groups. It is very spacious, with plenty of room to spread out and get comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the dock taking in the serene natural beauty of the Creek and observing the local birdlife, including Kingfishers, Great Blue Herons, and Bald Eagles. The house is situated very near to the entrance of Lookout Point State Park which we greatly enjoyed exploring on bicycles. Seeing a large wedge of Tundra Swans fly overhead was a special moment. If you want to spend some time relaxing in a beautiful setting in a beautiful and very interesting area with a large group, this house will serve you well.

We booked this adorable, updated home rather than a hotel so that our family from out of town would have a comfortable place to visit while celebrating our daughter’s graduation. We enjoyed the seating on the back porch as well as the living room for visiting. The rooms were all well-appointed and decorated and despite being quite rural it’s just a short, pretty drive into Princess Anne or Salisbury. I highly recommend!

My friends and I booked this place to celebrate our recent graduation from the University of Delaware. This was the perfect spot with a comfortable price, so we booked it immediately. We all enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave, but we will definitely be back again!

The house inside was gorgeous. We loved the natural light that came from the many skylights. The kitchen was appropriately stocked with coffee and condiments and plenty of cooking utensils to fix ourselves breakfasts and lunches. The yacht club was very close to the house and convenient for an evening dinner outside.

Terri's condo was beautiful! Very clean and nicely decorated. Located in a great part of Ocean City with plenty to do within walking distance, but far enough away from the craziness of the downtown/boardwalk area. Very peaceful and quiet and beautiful views of the bay. My family and I will surely enjoy staying here again! Thanks Terri!

Identical to pictures! Beautiful rental in convenient location. The beach and boardwalk were easily walkable and having Fish Tales next door was convenient! My only suggestion would be is to bring an eye mask if you are a light sleeper, there are no shades on kitchen windows so it’s very bright in the early morning since it’s all connected. It helped us to get up and moving in the morning so we didn’t mind. Morgan was quick to reply to messages and a very gracious owner! We will definitely be back.

A beautifully decorated and spacious condo with a gorgeous view. Great location to beach and boardwalk. Lots of little detailed amenities to make our stay comfortable.

Place was beautiful and the arcade game was a special bonus. The only negative to this trip was that we didn’t get to enjoy Brooke’s place more. We were in OC for Boardwalk Rock so we only used the place to shower and sleep. The next time we’re in the area we will definitely check to see if this place is available.

This was one of the best Airbnb experiences I've ever had. Dana was extremely responsive and was very flexible. I hosted many friends in Lewes to celebrate my graduation and it was the perfect type of home to host over a dozen friends, and everyone had a bed! It is so close to the beach and walking distance from downtown Lewes - everyone had a fabulous time and I will definitely be back!

Absolutely loved this little place. Fantastic location and just right for a mother-daughter getaway. The unit is very private and super well-designed with a ton of smart storage solutions. The owner was very responsive and accommodating. Would 100% book again!

We had a wonderful stay in Ocean City, MD! The location was perfect — close to the beach, restaurants, and everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. A special shoutout to Colleen, who was truly a fantastic host. She was friendly, responsive, and went out of her way to make sure we felt at home. Her attention to detail and hospitality made our trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommend staying here — we’ll definitely be back!

This is a beautiful property. We enjoyed our stay. Everything we needed, they had. The bed was very comfortable. The community this is in was very quiet and lovely for our daily walk. We will keep this on our list to return. Highly recommended!

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home! It was clean and comfortable. My family felt right at home. There were beach chairs, paddle boards and even crockpots available for our use. The pictures online do not show the beauty of this home. Would definitely recommend to stay in this home.

The community around Beth’s condo is amazing. Nice and quiet but still close enough to everything to where it’s not a hassle to get there! Plenty of space inside the condo so people don’t feel crammed! Sits on a beautiful golf course! Can’t recommend this condo enough!

Our family enjoyed our vacation and stay in Judie’s home. She was a very responsive host throughout our stay. The home had everything we needed and more- which made things very convenient for us. The kitchen was well equipped, the rooms were all comfy and cozy and very clean. Bathrooms had all toiletries including makeup remover! We literally did not need to pack any towels from home because Judie had everything! We traveled with two kids ages 3 and 4 so the fact that she had beach toys and chairs for them and a wagon in the garage for us to use was very convenient. It was overall less things I had to worry about packing. We love the Bishop’s Landing community pools; the one pool is within a short walking distance from Judie’s home. The location to stores and restaurants are easy and quick as well. This is our second year staying in Bishop’s Landing and we hope to be back again. Judie’s home would be at the top of our list.

It was a wonderful stay in an absolutely gorgeous location. The back deck has an incredible view of the marshes and it’s very quiet and peaceful. I appreciated the lack of electronics during our brief stay. Kyle (the caretaker) was very helpful with recommendations of what to see and do and was immediately responsive if we noticed something missing like towels or paper towels. Maggie is very on top of answering questions and coordinating check in times. I would definitely stay again!

Beautiful condo and community. Went for an off-season getaway and was very happy they are dog friendly. The condo was clean and spacious. There were LOTS of steps to the second floor. Not a problem for us, just something to be aware of. We did not use any of the resort amenities but the community was quiet and a great place to walk the dog. Since it was a winter getaway, was hoping to cozy up by the fire however there was a tag on the mantel saying the gas was off due to a valve leak. It was dated 2021, so I guess they aren’t concerned with getting it fixed. I would stay here again.

The house was very nice and the amenities like the community pool and hot tub were great! We were swimming outside at the end of October because the pool was heated! We arrived at night and had a tricky time finding the front door, it was a little confusing, but we eventually found it. The house was lovely and well stocked with dish soap and laundry detergent. The only complaint was how uncomfortable the master bed is. Other than that we enjoyed everything about the house.

Our family of 6 adults and 2 kids had a great time. The place is beautiful and just as described!!! We loved our stay, it was clean, fully equipped, communication was clear and the host was quick to get back to our queries. We will be back!!!
